Tbh I think the whole lurcher/running dog game as become competitive these days be it betting on coursing for money or lure racing or just having like minded out for a run on the lamp it seems as though it’s become a my dogs better than yours game be it money involved or not pretty shit tbh but then again that’s the society we live in today Its a look what I’ve got it’s better than yours society

Not to nock the bedlington Lurchers in Scotland I’m not nocking them at all but are they really a true line or are they a type bred ? I’m going for type bred rather than a true line?? -

That’s how it was back then bill for our team but the game changed for my self these days a dog that will run for me a couple of nights a week sometimes more a bit of ferreting an mooching about that fits in to my busy life style of living suits me lovely I don’t want a hero or world beater I want honest dogs I can use at my ledger to please my self But still honest enough to grade my own dogs with honesty an accordingly I’m trying to keep my own gear as a rule but we’re see how that goes

R.i.p jiggy didn’t know the fella personally only off here seemed a good guy tbh my thoughts are with his family ?
-
It was luck of the draw mate it was one of them tbh it was a shame really as he really looked the part but our old little team if they didn’t do what they were there for they were gone no ifs no buts they had to do what they were being kept for only dogs that worked stayed till the end an made retirement

I’ve good memories of 2 collie greyhound deerhound greyhounds lovely cross ??

We had a bull greyhound x deerhound greyhound year’s ago on our little team it was bred out of Decent we’ll proven foxing gear to be honest it was a bit of a anti climax to what we were expecting he was beautiful dog to look at big strong rough coated dog pretty fast in a strange line couldn’t turn for shit though being a big heavy dog we were expecting him to be a real good dog for bigger stuff but it wasn’t meant to be he was given opportunity regular but nothing come of him he was given away at about 3yrs old when reality set in he was never going to for fill requirements when a little 21tt

Beauty’s mate how they bred an what height are they
-
I’m not slagging them as I really do like the more traditional stuff my self tbh but I just don’t get how one man can constantly have a decent deerhound stud when there are lads out there in to there deerhounds an deerhound xs will probably only have one or two decent dogs in there life time that are good Same with us Lurcher lads one or two in a life time how is this man so lucky an always coming up trumps ??Wonder what the testing period for one of these slow growing an maturing beast

i Don’t get how this is the answer if working deerhounds are low on the ground yet one man Dave platts can alway find a working bred deerhound ironically that he owns that’s good! the rest of the country struggle to even find a deerhound but platts finds them that’s good enough to breed f1 an start back at the beginning over again surly it’d be better deerhound greyhound x deerhound greyhound generation bred worker to worker to be a worker rather than at the beginning I still recon there is something not quite right in the breeding of dogs he breeds I’m not saying there all no good but I’ll be

Proper happy with her mate she’s a really thick set type pup to what I normally go for in a running dog I normally go for the fine racey bred type as you know but I think this pup will be just the ticket for what I want her for an should team up well with my other bitch for mooching about
-
Let’s see these pups everyone has on the go for the future running get a picture posted an a little description of how there bred, age, height tts picture below is my bitch pup swift she’s about 5 an half months old 22tts she’s bred out of a bitch I bred that was bred collie/greyhound whippet greyhound deerhound to a f1 bedlington greyhound the mother to this pup was bred to a very similar bred dog but a little more bedlington I’m really happy with this pup how she’s turning out

Most normal people retire with a whippet bill that lives in the house but you go for a deerhound greyhound ????

Bill all modern cars have trackers fitted as standard mate any car with sat nav or any other form of gps or any car bought brand new will have a tracker fitted as standard the authority’s can have these activated on request if a finance company wants the car back for none payments being met or if the authority’s suspect your involvement in crime they need to pin point you to the location of the crime all it takes is your name an then they can find what vehicle you own it’s location time you got there how long you were there an we’re you are now all off your name an switching on the ignition?? -
Not all greyhounds mate some can be rather small an through rather small offspring because of what’s in there line but I get what ya saying I think coat, temperament an super size is going to even the odds of large offspring over a greyhound
