Id use the 6" nails, probably make you feel a bit better.....you will be hammering them in with your head anyway....Maybe in the future you can take them out and reuse them but if you cut them then your f****d!!!...... I need some 4" nails, and only got 6" one's, should i cut the 6" nails down to 4", or nail the 6" one in and bend the other 2" over, or just buy some 4" one's, or buy some thicker wood, i would realy like to use the 6" one's as my late grandad left them to me in his will, or any other options please.
