    right ,im off to check my springers in case a rat is suffering i have my hot water bottle & blanket to make sure he is comfortable for the night , can anyone advise me how i check for pulse ? i have a torch to check the pupils in his eye & have booked a full scan at the local a&e for the morning dont want to make a mistake do i

    tony ask how many country people check the spring traps are 100 pr cent dead ? now lets start with rats ,look at all the you tube vids on nv ratting how many wriggle about after being shot ? is a rat a rabbit more important than a squirrel , now tell us all on here honestly .have you ever wounded a creature ? has it got away ? i certainly have & i have hunted & shot for 50yrs ok the old lad did wrong but why the persecution ,he is not a criminal ,th case will cost £1000s yet the goverment are closeing libraries cutting services because there is no money ,,lets get our priorities right

    changed my mind billy ,i think the owd lad should be flogged in public then hung & garroted his kids sold into slavery & wife made homeless ,the dirty rotten b*****d killed a tree rat same 1 as the forestry killed 50,ooo last year & countless pest controllers & gamekeepers killed them in spring traps ,but the 10000s of illegals here shooting swans ducks & anything that moves , give them benifits free houseing mobile phones & a car ,hang our old lads they are the criminals yer right phantom ,old scum like that are no good to our society are they

    if i stretched everythings head i shot ,i would arms like arnie ,i headshoot my quarry cos im a responsible hunter & know my game & i know its dead i dont need to do an autopsy on every thing i shoot , them again im not perfect & im not an old man who isnt a hunter who probably didnt know it had to be a brain shot to kill it ffs give the old lad a break he did wrong ,why should he face a hard penalty ,get your priorities right ,he made a bad mistake & now he faces the consequences , the law & newspapers should chase feckin criminals & make an example of them ,not some

    i bet that was a great bit of sport ,i once took some hawk men out ferreting the hedges on big open fields in cheshire ,i bolted 23 the hawks caught 1 it put me off them but obviously yours are the real deal excellent ,cheers pete

    it can only be a bird really look how the tracks stop they dont double back on them selves or the bird has landed then hopped forward the photo dosent show how far they went ,i think the feet are in a hopping position it would be interesting to see the end of the tracks sometimes the wings leave marks in the snow as they take off ?
