  1. bit of sport for yourself n all then
  2. Mine stalked this particular rabbit today for about 20minutes. We just kept pushing further along the hedge/growth. Few times it froze and looked at me while dog had its nose on the deck. Eventually went into some burrow then popped up out another hole. Good craic just shame we never flushed it out properly into the field.
  3. I'm working away for few weeks soon and would snap someone's hand off! That being said not a running dog so less prone to injury?
  4. Na very rare I get any joy at the min. Pushed a few out and followed scent well. Need that gun or lurcher!
  5. I mean have you made a dent into the old rats yet?
  6. FairPlay that's one place I've never thought to ask. Many of the old top hats at allotments?
  7. Say my mate has a pet chow chow and has some similarities. Those Pomeranians have that type of tail top though don't they.
  8. What's the tan/orange made up of?
  9. I know this is wrong section but goes with the daytime rabbiting. Why is it my terrier can find a single rabbit in the thickest bush and flush it out yet yesterday we were put in field and bunny was hiding in grass like they sometimes do. Dog was about ontop of this rabbit and couldn't find it for toffee. Like she was too excited trying to use her eyes instead of her nose. Reminded me of video here last week where that lurcher picked rabbit up right next to it doing the same.
  10. Sounds similar to mine. Was told patterdale x jack when I had her but not sure if a bit of border n all. Shame not closer else could of gone for a mooch.
  11. FairPlay bet your happy with that. Yeh just the one so don't know if we're making excuses but seems like she could do with a hand. Whippet or a shotgun would help! Whereabouts are you?
  12. Mine hasn't caught it ages. Pushes them out all day long but no lurcher for the run. Seems to be rare that the terrier gets to the rabbit in cover before it dives down a hole or runs! Nice video
  13. We had one in oz when I was a kid. Never worked it but was fit and clever

    Collar

May be two in a lifetime job but if it happens again when I can't see her I'm in trouble. I think the answer is a tracking collar then if they're in one spot too long you know something's up? For me I'll probably just stick to taking the collar off when out now. Also didn't want to get chipped but probably will for the obvious reason

Yeh I nearly had to cut it off. I was tempted to not use it but don't want her being picked up

Yeh I've never had a prob before but thought she'd caught something as was thrashing round in the hedge. Went over and all caught up in undergrowth. I'm thinking it must've been on loose to catch

Do you have your dogs collared up while out. My bitch got caught up in the week had a job getting her free
  19. I tried a bit of Wagg before. Same as described above. Massive shites more times than I could count each day. To be fair got a refund after 2 days and got rid
  20. You got pics of dam and sire? I'd fancy something like this out of my terrier.
