  3. IF THE TOE IS ACTUALLY BROKE MOST OF THE TIME THE TOE NEEDS TO COME OFF.yes avoid if possible but tou cant change the inevitable
  4. i think if you ask your vet ,he has manipulated the jointgback into place.i have done it myself in the past.your dog does not have a broken toe,it has a badly dislocated toe ive seen it many times.and have learned to pop it back in .atb benny The vet did nothing, he was going to remove the toe, all he did was give me antibiotics and bone radial, i thought the toe would have been put back into place but it was left how it was, but i stand corrected it was not broken then. Just shows how good my vet was! has your dog got a god almighty hard knot at that joint, its quite possible
  5. i think if you ask your vet ,he has manipulated the jointgback into place.i have done it myself in the past.your dog does not have a broken toe,it has a badly dislocated toe ive seen it many times.and have learned to pop it back in .atb benny ps pin firing does not involve any metal work being inserted.its a proceedure where burning hot needles are run up and down the side of the joint to form a scar tissue ,which helps with the callouse (sorry about the spelling)
  6. i think if you ask your vet ,he has manipulated the jointgback into place.i have done it myself in the past.your dog does not have a broken toe,it has a badly dislocated toe ive seen it many times.and have learned to pop it back in .atb benny
  7. pin firing only works on the joint,if the actuall toe is broke.take it off.and pin firing isnt always successfull .you need a good level of swelling.had a dog both middle toes dislocated, pin fired.took the bandage off and the toes fell out of place. needless to say he was finnished
  8. if its actually broken, then you will most likely need to have it removed.if its dislocated and has popped back int place and is well swollen, leave it be.total rest for 3 weeks then light walking steadily building the walks up for another 3 weeks.after that try the dog off the lead for a light run.if all goes well ,start getting the animal fit.atb benny
  9. why would you need to tell david anything, when by your own admission you had dot seen him run, your FRIEND seen him run.i know EXACTLY WHAT WAS SAID and i wont change my mind.BUT its a load of shite and im out of it.atb with your own dogs, benny
  10. thats not true,we had a telephone conversation not so long ago.you told me your friend in question asked you to pm david slating the berti dog ,and that you foolishly agreed to this.your words.i remember that conversation well .i am not interested in the bickering thats going on.but you are mistaken on you take of events regards why david was pm,d.its behind us now and we should move on .its a load of piss, i think we would all agree.i only tell lies to the police and my memory has not left me yet.atb benny

  15. think youve answered the question yourself really mate, the ones that dont lern to steady themselves and time their strike etc if they just keep hammering away at their quarry.they tend not to stay sound .and in my experience poor greyhound blood can have a strong bearing on these injuries.just my opinion mate.
