    the scottish lads are referring to triple wire fences,stone dyke walls ,thick high hedges and hares that are very well educated , due to the fact that us scotsmen do infact GET out there in the feild OFTEN. I have seen quite a few saluki drenched dogs not make the grade in this enviroment.no offence meant but as for turning off the pc mines was off and my dog WAS OUT TONIGHT ,WAS YOURS just an opinion of mine.atb Benny My post was not aimed at you Bendrover. And just for the record i was out until 11.30 pm walking the fields. My little faithful friend at my side.... fair doos

    in the days where hare coursing was legal,people bred running dogs to suit the ground they ran.i have to admit there are areas where the hares were not at the athletic standards of other areas sometimes not that far apart.you can all argue that this type of dog can beat that kind.BUT over all a good local dog up here should beat a fenland bred running dog in the short feilds we run in scotland ,and vice versa.if you disagree then take up the challenges and find out.MAY THE SCOTTISH DOGS WIN,

    I'm turning it into a slagging match!!! If you think I'm going to stand back and listen to someone claim they are the spokesman for the hare and scottish hares are pish then your mistaken. Sorry about calling your wee buddy(who clearly wants to lick every orifice of your body) your boyfriend but he did come on saying you know it all but if this offended you then I appolagise. As for it being your personal opinion, why were you so concerned about my hunting credentials when I questioned it?     Where was that mate? in days gone bye,pre ban.Stirling had an estate that i wont name,although we nick named it the drive through.the first week in september you would see groups of 20 and 30 young hares running around all over these couple of very large feilds.needless to say the keepers took our presence the wrong way and after 3 or 4 years of persecution (GUNS) the place never got back to the glorious drive through we once LOVED Hmmmmmmmmmm think I know where your talking about mate but I'm sure we called it the motorway. well it was RIGHT beside the motorway its all insi

    THANKS MATE THEY ALL RELATED BLACK DOG SIRE TO BLACK BITCH AND THE FAWN DOG YOUNGER BROTHER TO THE BLACK DOG AND UNCLE TO BITCH Think we all get the picture that youre dogs are all related, as you have said so many times in youre previous posts.     Good on you mate. My dogs take pheasants all the time. I try to stop it but what can you do, the birds are so dumb!!! I don't know if this is true but I heard that the pheasant was originally a clever bird and they had to dumb it down cos of how fat and lazy the shooters were who hunted it!!!

    as you say flamin a true all rounder.do you know of anyone with a bad word to say about that dog ask m about j m asking wullie out coursing after the dog had just returned from lamping.2 hours later the dog was on some big land and killed 3 out a 3,he had killed 30 odd rabbits a couple of hours earlier

    nastybillys FURY, the dog took everything and i mean everything the best jack of all trades i have ever seen.nastybilly met a lad on a moor one day.the lad asked where he had covered,wullie (nastybilly)showed the lad so as he would avoid the ground he had trod.they chatted briefly about the game in one anothers bag.wullie being wullie,went back along the route the other lad had came from.wullie only had fury(lurcher x lurcher breeding)he met back up at the end of the day by chance with the same lad.wullie had caught 3 times the amount as the other guy.i have to add ,the guy in question had 2
