  1. thank you Buster, aye it's been a while, hope you're well? I've all but packed in, the loss of three dogs in less than eight months finished me. I still have the two in the pic, the one on the right hasn't been with us long but he's fine and I also have a pug/pat cross that I intended to work but he'll just come out with me and the rifle from now on. stay safe my friend Al 3 dogs in eight months ? Christ mate thats hard . I know how hard it can be , you know where i am if you wanna chat , mate atb buddy

  5. I have to admit I don't know the answer to that one Buster. You'll have to tell us. If it was aimed at me I have to wonder if you read the original problem at all. I certainly don't want to ruin my rifle. I've only just bought the thing and if it was putting out 11.5ftlb's instead of 9.4ftlb's I wouldn't have touched it. And where did Heath Robinson come from? We're talking about a spring that slightly stronger than the original for God's sake. And this from a man who earns a living selling AA spares because the originals are so good. Could you be slightly more constructive please Bus
  6. Right , Firstly I DONT SELL ANY PARTS I simply promote a friend who specialises in Air Arms Guns ( as well as other makes , FAC , Shotguns , Whatever you like ) , and as point of fact , he is well known and respected by many members of this section . I have nothing to gain and see no gain from it IN ANY WAY All i offer is advise , and help , where i can . If you chose to fit incorrect parts to your rifle , your loss ! And if you think you might benefit by trying to `tarnish my reputation ` , do you really think im bothered ? Ive been on this forum for years mat
  7. Great Snap AL , hope all`s well , long time no see , ATB Buddy
  8. My Local RFD holds a FAC and SGC , i know because ive been shooting with him ..............
  9. I know people who`ve had `experiances` but never me , untill October last year . Very strange , very scary .
  10. Strangely no. There is no requirement to hold an FAC to hold an RFD. You can get development RFD certs which allow you to carry and fire the rifles too (most gunsmiths have these to allow for testing) but a normal RFD certificate doesn't allow the use of the weapons, only possession for the purpose of business. Ever been on a plane Mole ?
  11. What a stupid thing to say ! I have a very good mechanic friend who does`nt drive , is that the same ?
  12. Dont appologise to me , it made me laff , christ im the worlds worst for being snappy No worries mate , be cool
  13. Personally i would only use genuine seals and i would NOT buy from e-bay .
  14. Guage is just stuck , it not un common in these rifles . I would`nt worry over the hammer , although you`ve done a good job of it just make sure the inside is as clean as possible and same for the rail . Seals are straight forward , just the transfer port seal can be easily mis-alligned . Any thing i can help with give me a shout , Buster
  15. Looking good mate Some good pics there , and cracking dogs
  16. Andy was this post aimed at me by any chance buddy? If so why? Si Christ , you took that the wrong way did`nt you ..........
  17. The phrase Cut your nose off to spite your face springs to mind . Personally , i found your first answer rude . You ARE fitting after market parts to a gun , and no doubt in my mind you will cause not only in consistency in the shots , but damage to other parts . I pointed out that fact and the sarcasm you responded with served only to alienate you from the regulars on the airgun section . I cant help but feel with that attitude you wont go far on any forum , which is you loss , as this is no doubt one of the few very good forums on the net . I thought I was joining a group of l
  18. Thanks for that Buster. I did suspect a seal. Ordered a set yesterday. Hopefully from a reputable dealer .

  20. Perhaps the reason its low is a seal gone / going ? Tut tut Tony , smacked hand for you ! You need to find the reason why is down a tad rather than crank it up ......
  21. Saw one at the side of the M40 a couple of weeks back , not far from Oxford . I guess there`s plenty of countyside there , but it was RIGHT at the side of the road , strange i thought .
  22. I asked for a GML bolt made from Stainless Steel , just waiting for any repy
