  1. Very good Davy , good shooting mate .
  2. Venom AA TX 200sr Venom 77 and both full Lazerglided Ripley Xl9 Steyr lg 100 and 110, Some impressive guns there mate , especially these few . Bet you wish you had some of them now ? But , i guess thast life , nice one Bust .
  3. Well if the test runs out next month ( thats what i understand ) and you use the gun regular ( i think i understand that too ) , i would just use it as and when you do for now . But im guessing it will run out `end of the month `?? If thats the case , i would get it topped up just before the test runs out , then you can use the bottle untill it it needs filling again . Then it will have to have a test done , you have no choise in that , simples
  4. Come on then , make us dribble what were the best .............
  5. It just depends on how often you use it , and how much you fill up . Do you just `top up ` or a full fill from flat ? Also when does the test run out ?
  6. Some nice kit there mate , love the Mk 3 , i always have . Never been much on the Rapids , guess there just not my cup ov tea , Bust
  7. Sounds ok i guess , seems to be a few farmers making money out of shooters recently . I know of a guy over Lichfield that does similar , `I`ll help get your FAC blah blah blah , ` tosser he is , mind ive been known to do a few rabbits for him , but he dont know cause i go when its dark , and there`s no one around
  8. Christ , got the grump there did`nt ya Tony
  9. Air Arms TX200HC HW97 To mention a couple of quality guns , much better than any you have mentioned so far . It pays you to go that extra bit if you can , and either of these will last years , not months .
  10. Its OK I have Mad dog Growler jacket and trousers ( in realtree ) , crackin for shootin , water proof , wind proof and quiet too . The veil and gloves i use are realtree too , and im sure i have a gun sock somewhere too
  11. Christ Si , that is a clear picture . What exactly is it your using ?
  12. I must admit , ive not really looked into this . So whats the crack ? will you be using air rifle and deeks , or shooty ? Are you there alone or is someone giving you a guided shoot ? Let us know , Bust
  13. About £30 new , about £20 - £25 second hand . Did you just buy this ?? if so ide be asking why you were suplied with a gun and no Mag ??
  14. Pages and pages here , have a mooch through this lot - http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=131168 Bust .
  15. A spread of even 15 FPS is nothing . It will make hardly any difference from shot to shot . A difference of 2-4 is a very tight tolerance ., ide be surprised to see a gun performing consistently at that .
  16. The choise of an FAC Air gun has to be a Rapid
  17. If i were looking for something special , ide save a bit more and go for something like an ANSCHUTZ 2002 . You could probably get one thats been breathed on by Dave Welham . Superb bit of kit , nice to work on too
  18. As stated the usual suspect is power curve , but it might benefit for a hammer and rail polish , you`d be surprised what difference that can make to consistency .
  19. Allthough im Air Arms through and through , the HW100 is a damn fine bit of kit . For me between the two there would be no choise , it simply is the HW100 , end of . That said , there are plenty of second hand air rifles about that will cost you considerably less than the amount you have said your willing to pay , you must remember that with any PCP you will need means to charge it , a bottle or a pump , and if you get a good second hand one you can get all the `extras` and save a few bob , Buster
  20. You`de be better asking the same on Pigeon Watch Forum . http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums
