  1. Bag of sand would be a bit more useful than clamping it in a vice . Its not something i`de do , but horses for courses .
  2. Nice one Mikey , nice to see springers getting some action instead of the pcp`s . TX , a very under-rated bit of kit IMO , Buster

  5. Im after one of each . A mac laptop / netbook , whatever there called now and an I pad . I dont really wanna spend more than a grand so if anyone can point me in the direction of some good deals ide appreciate it , thanks Buster
  6. You want a 9-13 . As a 6-9 is ok for bench work but no good at all in the field . If you going to be hunting then it`s definatly the 9-13 . I have one and use it all the time , very rarely is it too short , only on one of my shoots where the land slopes away from me down the hedge line . Small enough to hardly notice and big enough to be a real help . If you can afford it get the tilt , and dont bother with a podlock . IMO Harris is the only name to buy , but that said you can get some decent one`s . Harris 9-13 swivel . Buster

  13. Hawke do a decent little kit , with a rats tail switch on it , mounts and all the bits - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DEBEN-HAWKE-LASER-KIT-RIFLE-SHOOTING,-AIR-RIFLE-HUNTING_W0QQitemZ110601601965QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id=161994379296&rvr_id=161994379296&cguid=fea0cc6312b0a47a43c16f91ffaab5a7 seen em about £20 , keep your eyes open on BBS
  14. What will you be using it for ? Range finding at night , or just using the `dot` ?
  15. Prices - The whole 3/4/5*0 series including the TDR and MPR cost £155 plus the return postage if needed, £25 by next day insured special delivery or £12 by Parcel Force 48 The S200 is either £100 for just the cylinder to be regged or £125 if the whole action is to be setup aswell, the setting up is easy if you have a crono. Again plus return postage if needed, £10 on the cylinder and the same as for the other rifles on the whole action. Regulators are very useful for eradicating the power curve, providing consistancy, efficient air usage and thus extending the number of shots per f
  16. Lee just buy the Ranger and then buy a N1000 IR laser from here at £120 http://www.nvscopes.com/night%20vision%20laser%20illuminator%20N1000.html it works out cheaper, the only difference is the Pro has a laser instead of an LED this is why one throws a beam 250 and one 600m Ranger 5x42 best price on the net is here at £320 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Yukon-Ranger-Digital-Night-Vision/dp/B000HZT88I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1288646428&sr=1-1 The Ranger pro here at £657.20 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Yukon-Ranger-Pro-5x42-vision/dp/B0032XRARI/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1288646903&am

  18. That would`nt be Pete by any chance would it ?
  19. Hiya Tony , decent scope there mate , just the type of thing i`de bang on any of my guns for mooching Its kinda akin to the Optima Moonlighter . As said , good `fast` lens ( good for gathering light in low light conditionds ) so if any of you newish arirgunners are sfter a decent buy , this is the one . I`m after a scope myself for my MPR FT , but im after a higher mag, something up to at least 24 , or ide take it myself . Good luck Bud , Buster .
  20. Ive got some advise , unless you can consistently hit paper targets at various rnges dont shoot live quarry . This practise is the kind of thing that gives us all a bad name . Be responsible for yourself , your quarry and your fellow hunters and think long and hard about what your doing .Would you buy a car and drive round the M25 without any lessons ?
  21. I joined back in 06 , when Chris Jones ran the airgun section . It was ok back then , a few tossers , and a few decent chaps lots of rabble . The forum has changed , ALOT , since then with many people moving on , and many just loosing the zest for it . There was a time ide give my all for anyone on here , but for me those times have passed . Now i will still drop in , comment here and there , as i do on a few forums , but i keep my distance . There ARE some good guys ( and gals ) on here , and i would genuinely go the extra mile for them . You know who you are . Hopefully one day the pheonix w
