    Do your research patiently, as there is so much cr*PP out there. you will keep upgrading if you get it wrong ! You heard the saying, cry once & you have it right, get it wrong & cry every time ! A good s/h gen 1 can be upgraded to gen 2+ for under a £900 all in , (A good gen2 will cost s/h £1200 +) .This will be sufficient for 223 fox @ 150yds with reasonable ir beam. The vary in wieght from 750g to 1.7kg .

    All down to the cartrage, gun used & experience of the shooter. 50yds is about average. Older mid choked barrels do have better distance, quality carts have better pattern.

    Cr**P .All the geco i have used is unreliable with the powder loading, up down & everywhere on the target ! I wouldnt recommend for the field hunting.. But it may be different in some other barrels..buy 20 try it

    I am a great believer in your get what you pay for, & state side there are some good quality clothing tax & vat free. So it makes them superb value.+ If its branded harkiller, seeland, shark or something similar you sure are on to a winner, under £100 s/h . The Yanks have light wieght water proof, silent , scent block versions from Game hide , colombia ,river west , that are superb value.

    Plenty of land this way if they need more space, is not what this is about. I drive around a few 1000's acre a day, if the pastures were seen with deer, boar or any wild life for that matter, it make a more enjoyable day , rather than almost bare fields,pastures with limited numbers . I know the deer etc are there, some good size herds & groups. Our best bet is shift a few unwanted out of the country , deport the unacceptable, unemployable ,unskilled migrants & leave the beauty of the countryside alone & make more habitat for our resident mammals. Not wipe it out for building use
