    Late teens early 20's mate the better 1's that could run that many Well its each to their own.if mine catches at that rate I'll be topping up the freezer nicely I hope ye get a decent 1 mate and it doe's ye proud the numbers i gave above didnt look good though when there was lurchers running and they were getting late 30's into 40's the whippets deffo looked better first 10 runs or so but soon died of ye get a few hard run's or a knock and whippets usualy fade off

    I should think twice about calling folk thick matey, as for folk calling whippets, for the work i do and the land i work them on they suit me just fine and when lads have been down with there lurchers they haven't caught anymore than my whippets either lamping or ferreting/mooching in fact on a few occasions Vixen has run better. I'm not just a weekend hunter either, my dogs probably see more rabbits in a week than some do in a month. Infact in the huntinglife lamping competition 2010 The heat i ran against longdog runner we caught the most between us in all the heats. Its a FACT

    Best terrier ive had was a biter if ye stood next to him pegged of at a dig he would grab ye leg and when ye broke through and lifted him he would try to grab ye funnily enough a few bred down from him were the same ive had the odd lurcher that was a biter but only other people never me

    Work's out at 22 to 23 pence a pound what i get for minced beef a quid a lb seems way of the mark the dearest ive seen it in pre-packed wrapper's in pet food store's is still between 40p and 50p cheaper than that
