Andy you get that with all dogs lines etc what are you trying to strive for like better dogs or no litter wasteage not everybody has the same idea on thing's thats life and how things are everybody is entitled to there own opinion though regardless of anything said on this i am still sticking with greyhound's are not the animal to put into a well established line

I will put it thicko term's so max can understand it if you had a decent lurcher bitch that was doing well in the field on your chosen quarry and ye decided ye wanted a pup out of her what would ye use ?? a greyhound because it was really fast around the track or a lurcher from a similar breeding that was also doing well on your chosen quarry was fast had gears and lasted a good shift

Can you read? I said I would not add pure to my dogs be that collie, greyhound or bull. What I have said is I would CONSIDER using a lurcher i have seen run which was sired by a pure greyhound . I would also CONSIDER using one sired by a pure collie or bull. BUT I would look else where in a line 1st, is that plain enough for you to understand? or are you going to try and twist what I say again! So Joe you would consider a first X Lurcher-Greyhound. Where do these first crosses come from ? Either a Greyhound Sire or a Greyhound dam. Like i say somewhere along the line someone

No disrespect Andy but if you did go down the line of a grey would you use a track dog????? Or would you use a dog that's been tested in the field as there are many out there. I feel as it would hold 50% of the next off springs genes I would want to know more then just how fast it can run in a straight line. But hey that's just my opinion Nigh on all Greyhounds will kill ANYTHING and that goes for track dogs too,if they run for 3 or 4 years chasing nothing other than an imitation rabbit or a rag with a bag tied to it believe you me they will destroy anything with a pulse..like i said

Andy your dogs would not suit me i run different quarry and i wouldnt have a pup from a lurcher x greyhound mating if i did want something from dogs similar to your line i would have 1 of joe because ive seen his run and he is or runs on a similar principle to me other than that i would only have a pup from a fella i know down south

I dont care if he had a golden plated greyhound with platinum spunk i still wouldnt use a pure greyhound over a bitch from a well established line of lurcher maybe in the begining infact for sure in the begining i would but no way down the line we all have our own opinion andy and i stick to mine but ffs stop strumming the bloke because ye want to use 1 of his dogs Strumming ffs lol Post something worth reading. my opinion and i am sticking to it

You sure? A couple seem to think lurcher/collie is the way to go. Not to sure why. Maybe all the minshaw bitchs where no good an not worth breeding from or some people have not a clue on how to keep a line. There is NO certain type all different shapes an sizes in all honesty what I have learnt from reading this is the people breeding them have not got a clue what they are getting when breeding. You go and tell Buddys owner that, think he will disagree. Money dont fook the dog game imo its usually Jelousy. IMO as soon as moneys involved people start seeing £££££'s rather than the dogs for what they actually are and will bend the truth and lie to themselves and others all to increase their profit margin, if people want to make a few quid go and get a f*****g job, peddling the arse out of dogs isnt the answer. I am the same, but I don't use it as a rule!!! To be fair ive sobered up abit and it looks to be more around the 5 inch mark now your doing it again hedz your geting mixed up way your inches and your cm I aint mate i work in metric and imperial quite well
