    Happened to me around 40 years ago. Part time keeper shot my dog, a very well bred Non-Ped Whippet, (you may know the breeding, Bunnys; Darley Fly (Bilko x Tearaway) X Susan (Blue Fawn x Young Lucy). Anyway, this "keeper" got the hiding of his life; me and my brother got arrested for GBH and Tresspass In Pursuit Of Game Or Coney ! The case was abely defended by a very good brief and was thrown out.. Not Guilty !! The "keeper" was then charged with Unlawfully Killing A Dog, and was found guilty, fined, banned from keeping dogs, lost his job and his FAC's, so apart from losing a good dog, it was

    Ive only ever used longnet's once and we set them for munty's when we were pushing them from cover with hound's but could never get a decent run on them so we sett's the nets up and i put the hound's through and out run's a herd of fallow and took the net's with them :laugh:

    Why? PP22 needed a type of dog to do the job he wanted. He found a base and tried to evolve from that base. From what PP22 has stated on this thread It has been trail and error with some successes and some failiers. Some have jumped on the bandwaggon of his successes and tried to use it as a selling ploy, others have just dismissed his efforts completley. But, some can see where he is still trying to go ( even though the rules have changed some what ) and applaud him for his single mindedness and his belief in what he is trying to achive.
