Its a horrid problem i have the same here with some of my shepards and spaniel/collie , i removed a large thorn from his foot as a pup and that was the end of that,I have on one occasion let them jump in the truck and that worked. i managed to nip of the due claws, With the deerhound i lie her on the settee the hubbie smooths her and i do the feet, she panicks a little but not to bad. Just heard today a friend of mine whent to the WCGF and had her dog stolen Ive only been to a few of these shows and thought what a refreshing change from the dog shows that ive been doing, ive found the people friendly and like minded,But i will be on my gaurd from now on :thumbdown:How sad these few are and giving a brill day out a bitter taste The dog in question was a Norfolk Terrier 2 years old, and still in milk. These dogs are my friends life so any info much appreciated. Denise

  13. I have a english bull she never stopped chasing stock she had two of my lambs, the ear of my pig, i tried collars all the rest of the stuff, now she can only run with the other dogs if muzzeled, pain in the A***Dont want another one like her Good luck with yours Denise

  19. i have a springer x collie he is brill at flushing has caught the odd few, even found a live baby one on the kitchen chair with him, he had slept with it all night, not letting the other dogs eat it,two of my litter whent to a working home in cornwall.
  20. thanks 4 that, but crap on the computer and could not find them on k9, yes still looking, what height will thay be, and whats in them, and what area are you.I have a friends litter due in 3 weeks, but a lot can go wrong by then.good luck with your pups ive just had gsd 4 days to day, she whent 2 to 3 hours between pups atb denise
