  1. Hi just picked up a 7 mth aprox , Yellow Gold brindle dog pup, from some people down in cornwall they also had the litter brother, but was finding the two to much, he is supposed to be a grey/whippet saluki/grey, he has had one of his due claws removed, i think they said his Dad was black. would be interested in his lines if any one knows him. He came from the exeter area , i think just of Holden Hill. ATB Denise
  2. I have a baby gate in my kitchen door way to stop the dogs, my new whippet x jumps the gate to and fro, to run with the other dogs, tried her at a local hunt show over hurdles, did it with ease, now she pops over any thing Denise

  6. My home bred English bull was on the way back from the vets with his two gsd dogs friends thay are all castrated and under 2 years old, never sparked of before, and then he grabbed one of the gsd just out of the blue, locked on dogs screaming emergency stop, me leaping into the back of the estate, the bull came out with my poor terrified gsd in his mouth, New home for that one ! with no other dogs. His mum is grumpy if she is in the house with the other dogs, so i am afraid kennel and paddock of her own. She is my 4th english, and will be the last, dont mind the odd tiff with the pack, but bull

  11. Just trying to think back to when mine were younger, the deerhounds had more problems house training then chewing, my dog had been crated 24 7 before i got him he was in a very poor way, no mussel and very cow hocked, because he was terrified of going back in a crate i brought in some sheep hurdles and made a pen that way, just as well we have big rooms ! leave down plenty of bones and mine liked a hard rubber bone as well, i also put a mix of mustard and tobasco on any chewed bits Denise
  12. i am just reading the notes my daughter left for re sizing pics still does not make much sense here goes
  13. I took bella to check the sheep with me this morning, we are practising to leave the lambs, then all of a sudden a small rabbit bolted from the hedge, I no its off season but bella does not, and she took of, I was so proud of her one young rabbit and brought back to me, After lamping with my deerhound for the last year and the only thing he has caught is kennel cough and a bite on the nose from a forbidden critter, my little freebe lurcher is definitely the way to go, Love my deerhounds to bits but Bella is tops.
