  1. One of those reviews is mine. I had a hell of time getting my money back from them. I ended up sending a letter threatening court action and only then did i get my £ back
  2. I am looking for some advice on lamping foxes with a shotgun. I was out last night lamping rabbits and saw three foxes all to far away to hit with the shotgun. How do I call them in close enough to shoot? Do I leave the lamp switched on or off? If it is off how do I know when the fox is close enough to shoot? Any advice or tips welcome.
  3. I think it is a Four-Spotted Chaser
  4. What a cheek. Now he is the but of our jokes
  5. Locking knives are considered fixed blades so what ever size the blade of your locking knife you still need a good reason to carry it Having no teeth is not a good reason to carry a locking knife, see the news article below that appeared in my local paper My link
  6. What p*sses me off is that in this Country we let them get away with this and they know it. If he wants a Muslim country lets punish him like it was a Muslim country. Its my idea so I get to throw the first stone at him.
  7. I have been clay shooting, rather badly, on and off for about 6 months and I have recently joined a sporting gun club and can now shoot on the clubs permissions. Anyway today I bought some crow decoys and went out for an hour to try them. I set them up at 3pm on a cold over cast day not expecting much. In just over an hour I shot and killed 3 crows, I also missed another 3 due to nerves and inexperience. I am well chuffed. It may not be the huge bags that some people get but prior to today I had only shot 2 wood pigeons and a 1 crow in 4 trips to the permissions.
  8. I use Photoshop Elements 7. I use Elements to upload raw files rather than any software that is supplied with my camera to upload. By using Elements the files are automatically put into a library. To view the files I then go to a Tab called ORGANISE which lets me see all the files in the library. Elements sets this all up who you first install it. To find lost files try one of the following: 1. You could try opening Elements and click File > Get Photos > From Camera. The tab that appears may show where the uploded files are stored. 2. Elements has a search facility cli
  9. When I used to fish many years ago I always loved catching Tench because I think they are a bueatiful fish, next was Roach around 1 to 2lb in weight. Always hated catching eels
  10. I am not fused on cats but its the owners I have a real problem with. They all feel it is acceptable to let their pet roam at will and then when something happens to Tiddles they blame everyone else but themselves. Cats are a major predator of birds and small mammals. If I had a dog and let it roam the streets kill things I would have the old bill kicking my door down and throwing me in the cells. But cats thats fine let em kill what they want. I have yet to meet a cat owner that does not have a story about some dead animal their cat has brought home. Do not even get me started o
  11. I use Animal tracks and Signs by Preben Bang (honestly that’s his name) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Animal-Tracks-Signs-Pocket-Nature/dp/0199299978/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_b I like the book as for the price there is a lot of details and plenty of photographs, showing footprints, droppings, feeding signs etc. The main downside is that it also covers European Animals so does not exactly meet your requirements. I also use Animal Tracks ID and Techniques by Ian Maxwell. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Animal-Tracks-Techniques-Ian-Maxwell/dp/0955434807/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid
  12. I am so angry about what he did to your dog. I would have buried him for doing that.
  13. Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I have been shooting clays and now want to try other forms of shooting. I live in Ivybridge South Devon which is about 10 miles East of Plymouth. I have been reading the threads on here for a few weeks now and have been amazed at all the useful stuff I learned.
