    im 25, i got all the wild crazy stuff out of my system already. grew up in town but travelled the world as a kid, my parents used to breed + show "miniature longhaired dachshunds" + are the kind of people who dont understand hunting + want to rescue EVERYTHING, i have had to learn about hunting from trial and error out in the field, only recently started to go hunting with others, learnt a lot from this forum but you really have to be able to filter out the bullshit.

    maybe its because im not looking for a worldbeater in a lurcher + ive no interest in breeding or showing lurchers, but i believe strongly that IN LURCHERS nurture can produce many many brilliant dogs from those pups with no known breeding. im taking that chance with my 2; 3mth old lurcher pups + my 12mth old bitch. some folk just want a loyal worker to go out with 3-4 times a week to bag a few daytime rabbits + a few on the lamp.

    never tried poitin,hint hint,hint if you fly over for birr castle we'll have a few, cheap flights nowadays, no excuse familt commitments or i would,besides,other than my own show and other FMWTC shows,i cant stand the things. however,the wife has got the taste of fishing(we are going away for a long weekends fishing soon) and her now passion of wanting a shotgun,we shall be seeking other places to go to.mine being ireland but will have my terriers in tow and no doubt find my shovels etc in the motor somewhere . still think you should post me a panda pop bottle of the stuff and

    mixed bag of fish heads from the fish van on wednesdays;- carrierbagfull- 1 euro use them as treats for all the dogs, but they do stink for a day or 2

    also helps if you put vaseline on the itchy + hairless spots for a few days, i had an infestation of lice for a while + even after they were gone, dog kept scratching and biting at the itchy spots, wouldnt let them heal, she destroyed 2 cone collars in her efforts to scratch that itch, vaseline soothed the itch + dog grew back all her fur in a couple of weeks, she had gone half bald.

    ive 2 pups;- 1/4 deerhound 3/4 whippet with a dash of something else in the mix but cant remember what! next year i'll tell you how good they are!
