  10. just had a couple of lads land at my door with their old hob, hes very distressed and launching and biteing anything that moves hissing. i think its fear thats motivating him, hes not hungry as hes been fed recently and i know the hob and hes normally not this way. what i gather from them is they brought him out hunting and he started sulking in the hole and then acting like this when removed, im stumped as to what went wrong that this hob has turned into a nervous agressive wreck over a very short time. anyone have any constructive ideas as what went wrong and how to fix it?
  11. a friend of mine gave me a hound x jrt pup. 3mths. ive taken it as my elderly parson bitch isnt great at bushing rabbits and i could do with one on the ground i hunt, problem is ive never kept hounds. where do i start? at the moment im just treating it the same as the rest of my pups. jez this pup has a gob on it, howled for 2 days solid, im keeping it in a mixed group of pups. what makes a hound tick, what should i expect. what motivates a stubborn pup like this. ive plenty of experience with terriers, lurchers, collies but this is new territory for me....
