  22. seen a lurcher yesterday evening, saluki-deerhound-greyhound, hes like a big racy hairy saluki to look at, this dog catches everything live;- pheasent, rabbit etc, caught a young fallow deer doe calf, saw her in the stable, fine young thing, same size as the dog, not a mark on her. ive never seen a dog catch large prey live! i know his dam, she used to bring down deer easily pre-ban, his sire is i believe a coursing dog. also this dog has never been sent after fox, owners afraid it would be brought back live anyone ever see a dog like this? catching live like this? obviously he cant ret
