  1. I like that. So simple, but it works. Be easier to make too. It was a pain in the arse trying to make a decent "square" triangle. Thanks for sharing.
  2. Was over the island yesterday, managed a couple of faded shots of the Needles.. Lots of erosion along that bit of coast, seems very soft, which got me thinking the Needles must be eroding pretty fast. Anyone got any pictures of the needles when they were bigger? Bit anti climatic if Im honest, this is the first time as an adult to see them up close and Im sure they looked bigger in the postcards.
  3. I was gonna suggest food round his mouth You say he was in the garden, could he have fallen off something bud, banged his face? Did you have a look in his eye, could be a bit of bedding in there? How is he today by the way?
  4. This was meant to be a normal sized catty, but the fork flaked when I was drilling the band holes. (Should have had it on a flat hard surface...) So I cut it right back and give it a go over with the blow torch and a wipe over with an oily rag and gave it to a friend. I didnt get a picture at the time, but I got it back the other day to do the bands for him. Looks quite nice now its been fondled a little.
  5. Start calling you macgyver.. Get well soon.
  6. I know a couple of austringers that use this. http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Saddlery-Shop-Ko-Cho-Line-Dressing/dp/B002D1DVM8
  7. Its probably best to get a hob snipped for your own use if theres no one on hand, cos you`ll need him again 6 weeks later.. Mine are all in season again after their first service 7 weeks ago.
  8. Its commonly called "rat tail" Its cos his hormones are all over the place. It will grow back come the autumn, as long as theres no other problems. One of my jills had 3 tiny, tiny ticks between her shoulder blades and has a bald patch there now. Like I said though, it should grow back in with her winter coat.
  9. Is right! Love it. Aint Karma a bitch..
  10. Neosporosis Pete. Dog eats grass and passes it about the fields when it shits.. Dont like to admit it, but adam off cuntry file was on about it a while back, urging all dog walkers to pick up after themselves, no matter how remote you think you are.
  11. Nice write up Jon... I still dont like it though... Have to get out with them when the kids go back..
  12. Nice bud, I like knotty naturals.
  13. Jeezus!!! Great track to go to the video though. Looked good slowed down too.
  14. I took two jills in last year for the jab, they had to go down on paper as "no name" and "cut tail" due to the tip of her tail being trimmed so I could tell them apart
  15. Only my hob has a name, one that sticks and is easy to remember... Big balls..
  16. Yeah I`d be happy to pay postage and sort you a little drink out..
  17. A couple of days should be fine. Some people will say till the jill has marks on her neck, but I dont think thats necessary if its an experianced hob and the jill is well in season.
  18. Ah well, glad we cleared that up before lunch Had a quick read earlier, the mast is the nut, some years there can be loads and then the next virtually none. Heavy cropping years are known as mast years.
  19. I think its European Beech. Tc, I only just noticed you copied one of my pictures on your post, and heres me saying, "yup thats definatley the same"
