    Never had any probs either mate,what size you using? Try matching baits up with the right size hooks or try usng a different pattern. Loving the Korda mixa hooks for bottom baits. Tight lines.

    F`ing 23.8. For near on 3 years mate! Watched all my pals I helped along the way over take me slowly but surely, Had a few near 24`s from a well kept small commercial we go to when times are hard.

    Hi all,got of to a cracking start on a club water last night. Didnt even have a run last season on this venue! Any way heres the biggest resident `the wood carving` at 34lb 8oZ. Its been out bigger,but hey I aint complaining. size 8 kurv shank,single boilie tipped with a bit of zig foam-not even critically balanced,small bag of pellet and 20 boilies over the top, 2 hours later Voila!

    Them meat screws can be made out of the flint springs in used disposeable lighters,stretch the spring and cut in half-Voila! 2 meat screws ready to be hair rigged.

    I found anything by Irvine Welsh(Trainspotting) to be quite entertaining once you get you heed round the Scottish dialect. All depends on what you like to read....Tightlines regardless. Filth is a good one,bent copper that has a tapeworm develop into his conscience. Same author.

    You lads best form an orderly que to give me some stick n a kickin then,cos back in november I paid £350 for a patt bitch pup,it was all I could get my hands on as I dont know anyone-anywhere! and dont have my own car to travel,plus the fact I wanted one. She also came free with guardia which cost me another 170 at the vets. Still,shes shaping up great. Rob.

    Was out today with the dog and a homemade "Fish" style catapult, after some woodies for the animals. walkin thru the woods and saw a squizzer about 20ft up a tree,just as I was about to take aim at it,with a 12 gram shot,a F*ckin female kezza come in and had two cracks at it! Nearly had it!. Is this normal? Or do you think she has early young to feed. Cant really get my head round it as theres plenty of other food for them. Y.I.S. Rob

    This might sound silly,but fish where you know there are big fish,theres no point fishing your local if they only go 16.8. Find the fish before you make camp,this will double your chances instantly. Try and find an under water feature or a good margin spot and go for a boilie only approach with a good quality boilie. Also adjustable zig rigs are working for me at the moment with a size 10 and a bit of yellow foam. Hope this helps,Tightlines. Rob.

    Ta Lads. Just wish the place had a bit more of a wilderness thing going on,but sadly it has`nt,its just a 1 n half acre pond in someones back garden.Got a lot of clean 20lb+ commons in there and a lot 2-3lb+ Rudd/Roach and hybrids. I believe it was featured in one of the angling papers a little while back, as one of hampshires most top secret day ticket venues to catch a 3lb+ roach. Load of crap really,but good for a bend in the rod when your struggling.Tight lines,Rob.

    Hi All,done 24hrs last weekend. Had 6 fish,3 on adjustable zigs,1 on Cell and the 2 biggies on my homemade baits(peach n black pepper) 21LB on the dot and a near PB wobbling 23.8LB Enjoy,Tight lines,Rob.
