  7. On my way out hunting, in a good place today, if theres any sniff, i heard from the huntsman from the next door pack yesterday, they found 5 coyotes but couldnt hunt one of them more than 10 yds so let hope the scenting conditions have changed drastically over night
  8. Hey Cammy, it depends what your bag is, if its hunting with hounds then its a fairly short window, just purely because of the weather turning bad so quickly, if you want to see hounds at there best early November is the best time, most of the crop is in ( Mainly Maize, and Soy Beans ) and so we can have some hard and very fast hunting, if its terrierwork and running dogs then anytime really, drop me a PM with your details and we'll see what we can sort out
  9. Hey GTE , we use wildlife materials telemetry tracking systems, you can't get enough collars on the GPS systems 10 is the maximum on one box , we somtimes have 30 to 40 hounds out so we have to stick with the telemetry system
  10. Hey Rob, Yes Coyote's are our primary target , we have very few foxes , so it was nice to have a hunt on one, it brings the hounds back to their noses a bit, i find hunting coyotes a fair bit of the time makes the hounds a bit what i call flashy, because coyote's on the whole run quite straight and fast, it makes the hounds do the same, so they miss turns and the like, and so it is nice to make em slow down a bit and work for it
  11. Here a little vid as well, not very long though
  12. That video link didn't work try this one.
  13. Little video too [flash=http://www.flickr.com/apps/video/stewart.swf?v=109786]width="400" height="225" flashvars="intl_lang=en-us&photo_secret=ef37b747ed&photo_id=8051523541" bgcolor="#000000" allowFullScreen="true"
  14. If we had enough foxes i would but we have very few, the coyotes have driven most of them off, this fixture is one of the few places we can still find foxes which is nice, so if they go to ground we leave them, probably sounds crazy i know but its not all about catching foxes out here, like i say if we had a bunch of em , i'd be right at it although i doubt if id have a go at this place right under a huge Oak tree
  15. We had a nice spin on a fox this morning, ran him for about half and hour before he went to ground
  16. We had a nice spin on a fox this morning, ran him for about half and hour before he went to ground
  17. hey Mate , would you sell just the collar ? id give you 50 quid for it
  18. I took this shot back in the spring , i was just driving down the road to get tripes for the hounds when this fella caught my eye, and it just so happened that i had my camera to hand for once . LMP39743 by foxhound51, on Flickr
