  2. If a bitch keeps herself clean you'll never see blood on the kennel floor!
  3. How do you know which day to count from ? It's almost a waste of time counting, bitches vary enormously. A good method is to dab the bitch with cotton wool, she will be pale pink when she is ready .

  18. Would have a heat source next the the muscle from the linament ie the skin, perhaps still cause heat to get to the muscle faster though? A bit like standing in front of a fire, the heat is not directly in my skin but my skin heats up from the heat in front of it? Don't know, but chances are it doesn't even create heat in a dog, they don't have pores like us ,they don't sweat remember. In my book ,heat lamp for recovery and gentle exersize for a warm up. I wouldn't rub any of that shite on my dog. If folks think it works, thats up to them but I just don't buy it.
  19. Imagine it like this, you've got 100 blue marbles in a bucket, these represent the genes of a 100% pure greyhound. Now 100 red marbles in another bucket, these are collie, 50 marbles out of each bucket into a third bucket = 1 first cross pup. You now have a bucket containing 50 red and 50 blue marbles, mix them thoroughly, this is your first cross collie greyhound bitch. Make up another bucket the same to represent a first cross collie greyhound dog. From each of these mixed buckets make up another bucket, 50 marbles from each, to represent a pup ,but because the genes are passed at random you
  20. I might add that with a dog, a hunting dog at that, with a nose far more powerful than ours, the smell of embrocation must be overwhelming and would last on the dog for weeks if not months, overpowering the more subtle smell of game.
