blue moon why do you think ive lost the plot all ive said is my mate will make it in to a goodun i havnt said its going to be a match dog a worldbeater or anything similar my mate will have it from a young pup socialise it early and be out with the pup every day as he is with his other dogs and as anyone who knows him would tell you all his dogs walk the walk some better than others but ive never seen him with a useless dog why would this pup end up any differant ?.

chicken forever cracking pictures and cracking dogs doing a proper job very impressive catches well done.

when i judge on the odd occasion you do get a nervous dog its mostly nervous rather than nasty .i try to be patient and just get the dog to stay calm rather than running my hands all over it and making it worse just talking and smoothing it will sometimes calm it down. but if its that nervous/nasty it shouldnt really be in the ring because your just making the poor dog worse .imo

feed my greyhounds and coursing dogs gain 28 but use gain 20 during the summer had some good results using gain great dried food for running dogs .

tomo you obviously dont know me or my mate you will hear whichever way it turns out no problem at all.but no matter if it was top class the anti hancock brigade would still be giving it big no nos. but whichever way it turns out it will be there with his other workers untill it dies of old age .

feck me didnt know hancock had so many enemies . to answer a few questions nowhere did i say it would be a worldbeater and my mate has been in dogs forever and all the years i have known him he has never bought a pup in fact a dog at all as far as i know he always breeds his own out of his own stock but fancied a merle collie greyhound and wanted to definately know the pup he is buying is what its supposed to be hence hancock because love him or loathe him you do know what your getting off him when you go to buy a pup.which lets be honest half the litters advertised in c weekly and other pla

lots of welsh boys travel to the big land sometimes twice a week in the season .and there are some very good dogs in wales same as anywhere else.takes appprox 3and half hours each way from these parts but well worth it .

as in all breeds you get good and bad but a lot of it is what you put in to the pup .as i said there are exceptions as in everything

toby i have found over the years most failures in running dogs are down to the owner if purchased as a young pup.there are exceptions to this as in everything but mostly its the owners fault not socialising or doing enough with it and giving up to early with it.i bred a litter of first x of my greyhound bitch who hadnt worked but was a cracking track dog all the litter are flying bar one who was locked in a pen not taken out or socialised and didnt know how to run i bought it back and gave it to a mate for nothing he spends every hour of the day with it this pup although way behind the rest o

a good mate of mine has just ordered a pup from hancocks and to all the hancock knockers heres a prediction .. this pup will end up a real good un .WHY because my mate who is buying it will put the time into it he is out every day with his dogs and lives for his dogs .this pup will be living the life a lurcher was supposed to be for.

i alwats used jeyes for donkeys years but a few years ago noticed it wasnt the same seemed much weaker and piss poor at the job its supposed to do .i now use the gallon tubs of cheap stuff use a lot more but at 3 or 4 quid you can afford to.

agree with a lot you say but they are never going to compare with a specialised working feild trial or shooting dog at their own game .like as been said. more to it than meets the eye thats why the best command so much money .
