    i use thermostat controlled blow heaters and a good double thickness kennel coat snug as a bug in a rug then.

    breakfast they have cereal honey vit c tablet white e and warm milk evening meal they have aussie formula or gain with multi vit chicken or liver or beef and veg all mixed in and soaked with hot water feed the coursing dogs same as my greyhounds .on morning of race or course add a egg to breakfast , and always give them a electrolite drink after racing or working .

    best lurcher ive ever owned was three quarter greyhound quarter bull she caught quite a few daytime in feilds and a few on the fen but no way would you ever describe her as a courser she was sired by the famous buck and had more bottle than was good for her .

    once the bruising is out trainers choice is brilliant and very highly reccomended by all greyhound vets .

    the best out there for muscle pulls or strains is a product called trainers choice available from most greyhound stores or greyhound specialist vets this stuff is way out in front of anything else out there also a chinese product called and not sure about spelling is geng shui ie avalable from all chinese herbal shops or on e bay but beware there were copies of this stuff going around on e bay this is also very very good and a bone rub is also available in it for sprains rather than muscle pulls or tears if you ask in these shops they will show you which one to get the 3 of these product
