  8. Are we going to hang the guys from the 'taking the law into your own hands' thread as well, when they kill all the peados?
  9. I had the pleasure of hunting with a pack last saturday they had a blue tick cone hound as well as a blood hound these to hunted ox very well especially in the cover and at the check. Yes mate i have absolutely no doubt that in oz and the US, they are great. But how much chance do you have of finding working bred pups here from working lines, or how likely are you to get some over priced shit?
  10. Would def suggest culling the obviously really sick mate. This warm weather is a f****r for mixi.
  11. And also lots of litter variation.

  14. Am i going to be the c**t that says that coursing aint hunting. . . . well not really. It's just that you want to see your pup run a hare and cant stand to wait 5 month.
  15. Right our 'lurchers' are a proper mix of all kinds of shit, mostly with very little true breeding, and little litter conformity. The stags, which are basically lurchers (although maybe that should be long dog), are basically greyhounds with better feet - dans words not mine, (and i'd say a bit of deerhound) added, that were bred down from the hounds that came over from here, but they seem to have a lot more true breeding lines, and and from the litters i have seen, real good litter consitancy. So the stag breeders never need to throw a pure grey in anywhere, they just put another worki
  16. Blan - your last two posts are full of truth. Sad thing is - i think our culture now is so, that if you 'armed the people', you'd do more harm than good. But aye, in an ideal word, it'd be great. Idea of a safe is fine, but then then how quick can you open a safe in an emergency. IMO your much better sticking to an aluminum baseball bat and pair of DMs.
  17. Good lad Your team will be firing on all cylinders before you know it mate
  18. Just looked it up, in our unarmed society we had something like, just over (very fractionally) 1 murder per 100,000 people in 2009, whereas in Americas armed society that is so much safer, they had something like 5 per 100,000, which was actually their lowest rate i could find since 1960 (when the records i found started), and the highest figure in that period being 10.2 people murdered for every 100,000 people (1980), doesn't seem like all those guns make the place that safe. Oh and their rates of burglary were still way higher than ours.
  19. the flip side to that is they break into your house carrying a shooter.and there we have chaos we could always make it very easy for law abiding people to get guns but very hard with long sentences for any violent criminals/sex offenders to get one. criminals will get hold of guns regardless, the least we can do is allow law abiding people some form of defense. just to prove my point http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2011/04/21/dad-who-split-up-fight-in-mcdonald-s-shot-dead-115875-23075797/ Right so if no one has committed a crime before, they will never commit one. 20. I'd monitor it and kill anything that is clearly very infected. But then again, some do recover from it and then pass their immunity on (temporarily) to their kits. So it's a hard call, but i'd certainly cull the obvious bad bad cases.
  21. Read that story, how many folk you reckon stood about and watch that guy threaten to kill the other then chase him out the mc donalds? And the woman who says she watched it happen, wonder if she immediately called the police while they were beating him up (before he was shot) or just pulled her curtains across 'just in case they saw her'.
