  1. IDE- I agree, BullXs arent a big thing here in the states so I really cant comment from experiance but I would imagine quite a few Staffs get bred to sight hounds just because they are "Staffs" in the UK. Fewer than few I would wager have seen the "work" that would qualify them to be bred to an equal in sighthound field. Edit to add thats what happens here with the greyhounds...."its a greyhound it must be fast" Nail. On. Head. Aye i'm sure a lot of our 'Bull x's', the bull in the line is not proper tested, and is just used cos its a bull and looks the part. But then a
  2. Spot on mate, hope you lad has a good birthday, your a good dad for that
  3. What, did you think solicitors only tell the truth then That's what i'm saying mate, he was like, oh i got some kid off a rape charge today, o right, that's um good, says i. Aye he says, glad we won, but he did rape her. JUst a f*****g game mate, people trying to rise to the top of their tree and climb the pay scale. f**k the rest.
  4. the flip side to that is they break into your house carrying a shooter.and there we have chaos Yer, look at America. The idea that if you tool people up, then crime will fall, is completely wrong. Crime will ALWAYS exist in some form, and like you say, if some desperate f****r is going to rob you and he knows you have a hand gun, he's gonna bring a shotty.
  5. my mate is a greenkeeper on a golf course on a large estate owned by a university where its a big no no shooting traping ect ,after months of moaning it finaly went to the top dogs who decided to ask the pest control co who do there wasps about the cost of controlling the bunnys after ruling out gasing shooting ect they went with ferreting ,the guy submited a quote of 10k for 1 monthly visit of 5 days for 2 men over 10 months which got knocked back presumably on cost at this point my mate offered the same service free of charge . the email he got back said ok but we needed to relocate the rabb
  6. Shame you not closer mate, in a funny way, i'd f*****g love to meet you in person
  7. Could be mate, sometimes if they are old enough they all knock together and it becomes a f*****g labyrinth. But trust me, if you want in there bad enough you will get in. If there is a decent warren with rabbits in it, i'm getting ferrets down there and i'm getting those bunnies out no matter what it takes. There is ALWAYS a way, even if it's just long nets far out, get some shot guns placed out and then just let the ferrets go around the cover collared up and let them make their own way to the warrens. Either that, or you just cut your way to the holes and rape your hands netting up. Have ev
  8. Bad times mate, time to get culling and hope they bounce back.
  9. No offence and no dig intended but brambles and stingys dont make ferreting impossible, and anyway, they die in winter.
  10. Aye, maybe we should spend less time arguing and talking about lynching folk and work on turning our 'legal system' back into a 'justice system'. Some one i know is a solicitor, he spends everyday getting folk he knows for a fact have committed the crime, off the charges. How the f**k can you do that shit and still happily send your kids off out into the world..
  11. ive seen some good dogs in the 20 years of going out and the thing is every dogs a legend till the next dog comes a long then thats the best dog they seen in years a dog is omly as good as the last time out and what i say is that if the dogs what you like and does what you want then its a goodin a legend to me might be shite to you my best dog was a dog called fred now that was well spoke of in the local area where i lived at time everybody new me that is lurcher lads he was one mean hard fck he like nowt better than getting smashed on them nasty things never new what ihad till he
  12. Thankyou for all the advice, at the moment i'm just restricting his movement, keeping him on a lead and only letting him out for a piss. He's a mad little f****r tho, and like you said, thinks he's all good now, and has tried to jump on / off the sofa a few times etc. Managing to keep him mostly still tho, and no running. Feeding him chicken and venison and some biscuits. He's become very needy tho, and pretty much whines and acts like a child when i'm away from him. Here's hoping with time he'll come good
  13. Aye, big thing here, very few have worked greyhounds, for generations, so the breed just aint built for work. A 'proper' working greyhound, bred worker to worker over generations, would be a handy thing to have around for your line, in my opinion. But picking a grey to use, just cos its a grey, is just a bit foolish, if there is a working option of a tested x breed.
  14. When you do a breeding page, do us a favour and stick something about thinking if you really need the kits, have homes for them and are genuinely furthering the gene pool by breeding your ferret, then do it, if not. . . . don't. It's one of the biggest problems with ferrets. That was the main reason I wanted to make that page Nothing winds me up more then people thinking ferrets are nothing more then toy or a "easy" pet. Nikki I agree with Idention, send rabbits and nothing more! Well done mate. But i wasn't knocking nikki for sending those samples, that's a great
  15. did,nt you worry about her turning round, and thinking you were a bit pervy, very nice though Yes mate i did , but i thought it was an interesting place to sun bathe and worth trying for a photo, so i snapped it as i walked past.

  19. No problem mate, i'm just sat bored looking after a dog, so i've been discovering the wonders of photo bucket and going through my laptop There's fecking thousands on here
  20. Sounds like a great experience Fair play to you. It was pretty ace mate, and one of the best places i've lived, a real sense of community, no crime, no fannying about. And stunning scenery. The view out ma window here aint to bad tho.
  21. Aye, to be honest mate, many's the time i have thought about going back out there and taking some decent dogs from here to keep me company, but me and the missus are "in discussions". And there are no rabbits to speak of, so no ferreting
