    I was travelling the first time i passed through and then found work there as it was an ace place all round. Tiny wee village, the kind of place you can go get a crate of beer at 2 am from the shop and pay in the morning, where a slap up meal and a beer would cost less than a tenner, your tripping over f*****g deer and fox. There were mountain goats and antelope things bouncing about, f**k all people, some hares. Great food.     Of course we don't state conditions such as this Davy. I'm out nearly every evening and bag what I find in numbers that present themselves. I just hold off on the kitts only, because I want them better grown and tasty for the pot by Autumn. As you've seen for yourself, the rabbits don't exactly tumble out of the woods in vast numbers on my permission as once they did so many years ago.     Right, i know very little about hare coursing, but here's my take. The fens are a big flat bit of land right? And the hares that live on there, have no cover, and nowhere really to run, so the only defense they have is flat out speed and running agility. Coursing dogs are bred to run, rather than to hunt (although i'm sure many can). And the best 'running' quarry is going to be the hare that has to survive (over generations) on the flat land with only running as a defense.     Charlie is pretty sound, he knows how to work the land, really knows his shit, and has a couple of big farms not too far from here, that we lamp/ferret.

    Funny thing, when that girl was a wee lass and growing up, she had posters of prince william on her wall and said when she was grown up she was going to be a princess, then she spotted him at a fashion show at her uni, while she was wearing a see through dress and promptly got her hooks in.     Yes, it's like anything else, as far as i'm concerned, taking the law into my own hands is fine, and i'm ok with others doing it. That is, until some c**t decides that i need a beating (in their eyes) and f*****g stabs me or some shit. I.e - if an anti hunt person 'took the law into their own hands' and did something to my dogs or owt, i'd be going f*****g ballistic. Or just if you start having ignorant people doing it - and getting it wrong.
