  1. Hungary is great mate. I went for a couple of days and stayed two and a half years, then came back and after a few years, ended up back there for another two years. Flat as feck, lots of game, no poaching laws, farmers happy to see you, great food (if you like meat), great beer and spirits, nice people, beautiful women, good night life etc. Poland is up near the top of our list at the moment, like you said, should be a few free properties!
  2. Hello! I know that a few members on here have done some over seas hunting in Europe. The misses and i are going to be moving back out of the U.K in the next couple of years and looking for a place to settle down for a while, a wee farm in the country side sounds about right. Anyhow, one of the obvious important factors is the rules and culture surrounding hunting with dogs. To be honest it wil probably be eastern europe, as we have both spent a fair bit of time living in various western european country and as great as they are, they are just not for us. So i was wondering if a
  3. Aye, mine is the same, and the funniest thing, is, he spits out the unripe ones.
  4. Sounds like a half plausible reason. The only two other i could think of, would be that they are too warm, or that the bedding is dirty or has some kind of biting parasite in/on it.
  5. I usually use a wee bit of sudocream. Or just salty, warm, water is good.
  6. Is she single handed? And can i bred off her?
  7. It's like the idiot who said that to stop school shootings, they should just let folk bring guns to school, because then they could shot the bad guy dead.
  8. That's the thing isn't it. How many f*****g nutters and fools do we have about? You can imagine the fecking bloke from parcel force getting it lol. And how many folk would do other folk and just claim they were breaking into the house.
  9. I hope you like wasps, fleas, etc etc.
  10. Brambles are the problem, the rest is easy enough. For the most part we just clear round the holes, using hands and choppers.
  11. Well done mate! Looking forward to seeing you guys soon!
  12. There are a couple of spaces going on the syndicate i keeper on. Just thought i would see if there was any interest from tidy folk on here? 3300 Pheasants released, along with a couple of hundred Partridge and some reared duck (also wild duck and woodcock). 9 driven days, also about the same boundry days (walk about, rough shoot),and duck flighting. Beautiful scenery, excellent topography. The drives produce some very sporting birds. Cost for the season is 1500. Days also available.
  13. Like the post some retard made about hopeing her dog dies.. Aye, that was a bit strong. But we all know that this place has it's share of folk who struggle to express themselves, and are idiots. I just meant that out of context, it's not too unusual for folk to be surprised and concerned when someone sticks up photos of a staffie looking dog going for some cows, when out ferreting.
  14. It's the folk who know f**k all vs the folk who think theyknow everything
  15. I liked her, and liked her posts. But she did seem to get overly worked up by folks posts toward the end. Like the staffy x vs cattle thread. Some of the comments from folk at the start were understandable.
  16. Silvers are the e.u polecats of two years ago.
  17. At the end of the day the folk shouldn't have animals. How you go about that, is your call. What did they want for them?
  18. Funny I only seem to remember one of us on the Fell glued to Michael Nicholson's coat tails watching hounds the other was in a pub car park sat in a truck with the heater on picking broken bits of pink champagne bottle out of their hair Absolute bollocks, that says more about you and your dogs than anything else Again more shit! But you obviously have absolutely no respect for a fellow dogman who has worked hard to gain permission and who respects his land, his deer, his rabbits etc because you feel that you have some right to take what's his based on the grounds th
  19. I thought there have been a few silly posts on this thread but this one takes the biscuit  In your little world have you never seen or heard any of the above So any kid getting into the game shouldnt bother because he has nowhere to go? the future will be grim for our sport if all kids threw the towel in for this reason So hare coursing was banned because it was attracting the wrong sort of participants? .............. Why was fox hunting banned then? The point I was trying to make was that not all people who stray across boundrys are idiots Is it just me or d

  21. Just to chuck this in- there is not enough permission out there, to provide enough decent hunting for everyone who wants it. So toes will always get stepped on.
  22. I get what the lad is saying. But if folk want a moan, moan about the lads doing 'pest control' shooting as many foxes as possible, on largely arable land (with no pheasants), using night vision. No 'sport' in that at all, my nan could manage that!
