  1. It's not fecking rocket science mate, the u.k is a very small place, and as thick as a lot of folk on here are, i'm sure most can work it out But thats my point, how many folk are visiting this place in the next month or two, and how long till they get sick of dog folk dropping by
  2. I know where it is mate, like a lot of other folk Now don't go trying to argue with me, i was just making a point, i am not knocking what you have done mate, thats one hell of an achievement for any dog, and i'm doubly impressed to see the old fella still knocking them over, long may it continue!
  3. Aye, dogs or not, unfortunatly spreading it across internet forums leads to the same end result. I'm not knocking you mate, but its the truth. Also, whilst dogs might not wipe a place out, lots of folk, with lots of dogs will, or at least will end up making it unworkable for a number of reasons. And the dales IS f****d compared to what it was, and getting worse from the lads i know up there. Like i said, not knocking you, its just sad that in ten years or so, this will all be a thing of the past.
  4. Another great haul. Shame is though, that all of these places will be f****d in a couple of years, with everyone desperate to grab what they can, before the next bloke, and the knowledge of where it is spreading through these sites. I understand why folk do it, but its just a shame that no one is looking after the land for years to come. . . . . .
  5. Now then Joe, well done, cracking day and great scenery. I really like the mist photos, and that bike is brilliant! Really missing it up there at the moment, was thinking of a trip up next moon down? Be really good to catch up with you guys, maybe we will get you served next time! And i'll bring some quality netting again
  6. They were just all good quality runs to watch, better than any half hour of t.v on at the time
  7. I had to work late last night, and didn't get home until after dark, so the dog hadn't been out for his usual couple of hours, and was restless. I took the lamp with me when i went to the bottom of the garden to shut the chickens in, and he followed on as usual, if i was lucky i might get a run for him to take the edge off him a bit. The wind was picking up and a good drizzle was driving in my face, good weather for lamping, but i had work again early doors this morning so had decided against it as anywhere worth visiting is a good drive from me. As i shut the chickens in, i had a flash ac
  8. feck me one of then anti tree huggers as got hold of your dog !!! I'm under cover mate Just had a half hour out now, had 5 from 5, and i'm buzzing What it normal catch rate then nice dog all same I don't lamp him that much and round here its fecking impossible to get a good score. I usually manage about 3-4 out of 4-6 fairly tough runs, i was just really chuffed to get five slips, and doubly so to nail everything ran.
  9. "she was game as anything, just never actually mmanaged to make contact" Aye, they will kill them, but mostly get hurt more than they should and its not the quickest thing, if its a big fox.

  12. Aye mate we will, are you treating me to breakfast? If i don't have to drive you home at 4 / 5 am, you can have as big a breakfast as you like!
  13. Good one matey, we will have to take a couple of proper trips out when shes out of season
  14. She looks a proper character mate, and you look a happy team
  15. My mate Malc (Malc1) came down to visit last night. The plan was to have a good few hours out with the lamp while he was here, as the weather has been really good recently. As is typical however, the weather last night was terrible for it, very still, starry, cold and dewy, turning to frost and thick mist. I knew that we wouldnt be in for a massive bag, but still expected a bit of sport, however it wasn't to be, we saw literally nothing, managing a few very very long 'slips', mostly in desperation. Malcs big dog murph did very well with what he had in front of him and lifted three. Not
  16. Oh yer, i forgot about the car incident Finn isnt looking to cheery either, although he spent all of last night trying to fight murph, i had to lock him upstairs He must have heard what you said yesterday!
  17. Sounds like a good day mate, i like the look of the dog as well
