  1. i don't know if he will make things any better, all i know of him is he is still in the SAME party, the SAME party that allows hunting to be banned, yobs to rule,NHS to deteriorate, crime to shoot up,murders, stabbings and shootings uncontrolled, prisons full, releasing prisoners to re offend, robbing our pensions, allowing everone in the country(by the way, have you noticed i haven't been racist yet,i SAID EVERYONE),and letting EVERONE take our jobs, housing, jobs etc;at the same time he says he will build more eco housing (presumably to house the indigenous population of Great Britain who now find diffi
  2. i agree with Baldie,i am a smoker,ex smoker and now smoker again, and although i am totally against the way the gov't do these things because many people simply aren't ready for the changes they actually get stressed out more and find it difficult to give up because they have been personally challenged! To put things bluntly,i smoke but wished i didn't or never started, having said that i CHOSE to smoke and ACTUALLY ENJOY a smoke,on the other hand i usually ask if it's ok to smoke etc, this is usually fine in most circumstances, but more often than not i would go without if i thought some folks

not yet  can you row higgins i need an oarsman it's funny Snoops,i had visions of smuggling lurchers and the odd terrier on a punt or row boat of some sort when you said that ,but the truth is i was already planning my illegal immigration operation while i was watching it and trying to work out the various obtacles i would face,oh well, maybe we sparked a rabbit gold rush now,i think it will be hammered by the time we can organise it, Higgins.

Snoops,LOL man,i can see you WERE thinking the same as me,yes i admit it i was going to daytime, lamp, ferret and hand catch all the bunnies on that little island and that's not even talking about longnetting yet! Higgins.
  5. yes, sorry to hear about your pal's lurcher mate,a friend of mine had a beddyxgrey got knocked down,to cut a long story short, the bitch had her leg amputated, she's doing fine on three legs now, which begs the question, did the vets know beforehand that they should have amputated the leg,all the extra work gone into pinning a smashed up leg could have been suggested bcause of money and created extra stress on the dog, vet's are businesses, they are mostly trained to ignore emotional aspects of the job,if i were you i would question their intention as i suspect they are used to dealing with these si
  6. hi mate, just use another dog which is working very similar to what you need, the rest is pot luck, but at least you'll have bred worker to worker,whi\ch is how it should be,all the best, Higgins.

just watched the film piece about rabbits on Skomer island, unfornutately the place is a SSSI and a marine site for birds which means the island is well protected, shame on us hunters! Higgins.
  10. i was about to say everyone did you not see the rerport/news about the dead horse, shameful on you all just ogling the women, come on get some semblance of what's going on,the women are after your money or other prized attributes,i think it was Nicola who mentioned it on smoochers, although she hasn't mentioned it on here!I don't care what folks say to me,that horse shouldn't have died ,full stop. Higgins.
  11. if they are supllied with water regularly there should be no need for electrolyte solotuions, these are used when there is dehydration,as i read somewhere if dehydration is present it is already too late, better to keep offering water in the first instance, also if there has been illness in a dog or pup then it is used to keep on top of the dehydration problem, Higgins.
  12. it's ok,Shaun i got your Pm back and i understand what happened on your hunting trip but what the problem really is about, your mouthing off to other forum members and it shows a distinct lack of consideration and respect for other users on the forum, that's what gets my goat pal, either you show some respect or get lost, and i'm sure it won't be hard to lose you,if you play the game right you'll end up hunting with some of the members your slagging off,but first educate yourself, then your world will open up,all the best, Higgins. PS Snoops,it's just one of those days i suppose....
  13. Shaun you have a PM mate.
  14. What a prick Whats wrong with showing respect to what your working, Terrier or Ferret? Just because Ferrets are easier come by that a working Terrier dosent meen it dosent deserve a chance can you read it was an accident nob head stick your pogo stick up your arse mate Dick you stick your dick up your ferrets arse well some people never learn,it wasn't about the accident pal,but your general attitude stinks,if i was a mod on here you'd be gone, even though you've been given chances to redeem yourself you still carry on,i expect a lot of peopl
  15. was gonna drive to celtic football ground myself,as david said it was a waste of time, could be more accurate in venue details, glad i didn't try to find it now,all the best, Higgins.
  16. Devvo, the last time you asked for advice on here i told you to take the ferret with the bad tooth to a vet to get it pulled, you never let the members know how it went on,as for saying you can't get a ferret to a vet i am a bit worried, could you at least let us know how the other ferret went on,all the best, Higgins.
  17. uesd to strip mine by hand a lot, also used stripping combs of various sorts, but to be honest i like to feel what i'm doing, the chalk stuff just dries out the greasy/oily coats on terriers so that it is dry and can be gripped easily, all the best, Higgins.
  18. Shaun when i was just a kid,i used to knock ferrets about a bit caused by some ignoble influences at the time, but when i learnt more about ferrets and educated myself in the process i discovered that ferrets are the most underated tool in the field of hunting, they don't demand much but give you plenty of returns for the time and money invested in them, and for someone to just say it's only a ferret, they have a long way to go yet to understand how true that is,why don't you get a pogo stick, you'd be much happier with that, cause you certainly don't know how to get the best out of ferrets, and
  19. just read Baldies post regarding DEFRA,I am not aware of DEFRA'S track record or reputation right now, so if it is the case where DEFRA is concerned that they are worse than other organisations regarding animal welfare, then if it was in my backyard and DEFRA was doing nothing about it,then i would take matters in to my own hands, all the best, Higgins.
  20. i'm sure the releasing of wild caught animals has to be done in such a way that it does not disrupt the eco wildlife of another area, like DS says ring DEFRA to see what the current legal aspects are, Higgins.
  21. interesting post,i too am interested in the dogs from the last teriermen, what other lines are still going (don't mean to hijack your thread Simoman)i had a dog which had Cowan's bloodlines in,he was very hard but was one of the very best dog's i ever owned, even though he was on the big side, but still spannable (just),not many people ever mention the old time terrier breeders and it would be interesting to see how many of the old terrier lines are still bred today especially on a 'live medium',all the best, Higgins.
  22. not sure where he is gnipper,he's not replied yet, Higgins.
  23. savage man, well just in case mine are'nt caught, canyou send a a couple down here,if the other way round you can have a couple of ours, all the best, Higgins.
  24. LOL,two litters for you then, all the best, Higgins.
