  1. Those were the halcyon days of hunting and in particilar terrier work, shame we cant turn the clock back.
  2. He's 14 months old mate. He's a tad over 16 inches
  3. I must admit i do like the plummer terrier and had one in my kennels about ten years ago, but how the feck can they survive as a working breed when dogs and bitches are mated because of their coat pattern rather than their working abillity
  4. this one's a cracker, flowers from afganistan hope the link works http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=b84_1223035604
  5. you see more blue staffs advertised now than any other colour and all for £'s its a discrace
  6. you go on any of the dog peddling websites and they are full of them. Seen on pets4homes the other day a blue staffordshire advertised for stud standing at 12" tts true short stocky type. Makes you sick even the amount of patterdoodles jugs and anyother thing they can breed out of a cheep dam to a kc sire to produce £ notes
  7. Fair play mate, thats was an enjoyable vid the dogs are a credit to you
  8. Cheers fella's I was speaking to the bloke this morning he's obviously gutted, from what I gather he left her for a few minutes and as his wife went out to the garden the bird bated and the next thing she's flying up over the house and gone. If anyone in the south wales area has any sitings just drop me a quick pm and I'll pass them on to him.
  9. Just putting this up for a friend of mine, He has a Light faze saker falcon missing from the neath area south wales. She has jesses and leash on, She some how managed to break free from her tethering in the garden. Any info much appriciated. I know nothing about falconry just putting this up on here for a friend, many thanks youngo
  10. I sincerely hope they have killed the bas d. It just seems a nicely timed coincidence that they've now killed the most wanted man on the planet just days after the mess they made with their failed attempt to kill Gaddafi
  11. Anybody got any pics of the lurcher show finals ???
  12. youngo

get some pics of the bull cross up math

  13. Just wondering if any of you have any experiance with the newer models of the stealth?? The older ones had a bad reputation for being inaccurate and for the valves being very tempremental. Ive had two in the past, the first was a dream to shoot and was a bit hot straight out of the box, the second one I had I couldnt hit a barn door with :11: no matter what I tried with it. Ive had a few rifles since including the weirauch hw 100 but I fancy having another stealth so would appreciate your thoughts before parting with my pound notes
  14. Another swansea jack here
  15. Used to use these in my weirauch hw100 before I sold it, and have to say i was very happy with them, found them very accurate. Mostly used on rabbits but took all manner of quarry with them
  16. Fair play to you Jigsaw I think you've given him more time and effort than most would, but I think you know mate he's just never going to make the grade. All the best mate what ever you decide to do with him
  17. I know exactly how you feel mate. Half way through last season my trusty old hob was dead in his cage one morning. I got given a lovely looking white hob but no matter how much I tried him he just didn't have any instinct. I like alot of people always thought a ferret was a ferret but when experianced dogs are marking holes nets down an the ferret does nothing but go in and out for 10 - 15 mins with nothing to show for your efforts, I dont think theres anything more frustrating lol. What do you feed him on? just thinking if maybe you feed him on whole rabbit with the skin on he might start
  18. Ive kept borders for a while now and to be honest, even out of out of well worked parents good lines etc you will still get a lot of litter wastage compared to other earth working breeds. There such a varied bunch some will be rarering to go at 12 months and some of thier litter mates wont even look at a rat in a trap at 18 months. Its a shame really, but there are still good working borders out there. In my opinion we all like different types, you find what suits you and stick to it, be it border, patterdale, lakeland bedlington they all have good and bad just some more than others
  19. Sorry to hear what you been through Turk mate, just hope the spineless cu*t gets everything he deserves
  20. My brother bred her, her sire was a dog called countrymans companion a son of pyrennial man o'war. Shes a nice steady bitch, good nose on her, took a while to get going but she was alot quieter than the her sibblings as a pup so think its down to her more than her line. The dogs you mention are/were they good working stock???
  21. Got a bitch here g daughter to pyrennial man o'war
