    after feeding rowan berries had a shot last night cant believe how many ducks came in.

    been collecting a couple of buckets of rowan berries a day they seem to like. plenty of feathers since using them

    have caught 3 mink in garden in last week. trap is always set is this unusual never had one all year

    have a few fenn traps getting a bit rusty still cathing odd rat but they are looking tired

    our small shoot is over 1000 acres very open with 3 reasonable drives but mostly walking hedrows etc shooting 10 days and snipe bog which was poorer this year we stop the snipe november the 450 pheasants this year are holding the best for years weve had over 2oo with 3 days left they were pure bazantes and they are still holding well the snow has pushed them into 1 drive but problems with rats at feeders how do others deal with them

    we have a sweep on our shoot to see how many shots are fired in a day good way of bringing them back for a count dont see any lying about been doing it for years pleasure not to see any stuffed in bushes etc

    have 3 labs 1 in pup due today 1 older 1 younger pick up and beat with them got some tripe in 1lb bags how much should i give them
