  1. Thay look's nice and clean with no infection.. ..i remember someone doing a DIY job on a lurcher year's ago with a similar wound to that..it got that infected and swollen that you could not see the stitches and he was bricking it because he could not go to the vet's after doing a bodge up job.. If you have access to a mag box Mr Lloyd i find they heal a few day's quicker when stitched up..
  2. Many thank's again for yet another generous offer.. ..but if i do manage to get hold of some it's the natural colour's i want..
  3. And if i find a suitable home for the hawk i will also have this which measure's.. 23ft x 7ft x 7ft high..so i can comfortably say i will have no shortage of space Stig..
  4. might be a good idea that  I have a 8ft X 4ft X 8ft high enclosure in the garage at the moment that is full of quail for hawk food..they will go in the freezer soon..then i will modify the room to house whatever breed in my outdoor aviaries..

As folk will know i have 3 x linked aviaries measuring..7ft x 6ft x 7ft high..my plan is to put 2 x irish fancy hen's and 2x red factor hen's in one of the flight's with a Goldie Cock..another flight will hold 2 x Pied Greenfinch hen's and 1x Lutino cock and in the same flight i will have a pair of Redpoll's..which will leave me with a spare flight for now till i find some thing to go in there.. ..the 2 x goldie mules will be removed from t
  9. Brilliant stuff.. ..onward's and upward's now..just be carefull at the moment with this full moon as it will make thing a little harder to get near and you will have more chance of the pup hunting up as he will see the bunnies in the distance unless you have a bit of cloud cover..

  11. I took the dog's for a walk last night and i ended up on my arse and covered in mud from head to toe..
  12. I'll second that what Paul has said.. ..you need antibiotic's for infection's..
  13. I used to pay for them so my mate could shoot pigeon to feed the hawk..as lead is highly poisionous..he used to get a few but his shot to kill ratio dropped quite a bit compared to using lead..
  14. Regardless of his intention's hedz which i must say has fook all to do with anyone..YOU do not need a older dog to bring a pup on..quite the opposite realy..a pup should be trained and took out on it's own so it can learn for it's self and use it's own brain to work problem's out..
