  1. a would say its harder up in scotland to catch hares. the fens is all opened up where as up in scotland there fences, hedgerows enbankments ect. dogs need to be quick at them to keep them in the park and keep tight on them for the full course where as in the fens they can loss them on the turn and still have a lot of ground to catch up on them. a man from my area had a lurcher at 23 inches and was deadly on the hares atb poacher
  2. in this day in age it seems anything crossed with a greyhound. people are trying everything. you rarely see the old type lurcher anymore. atb poacherman
  3. bosun 11,you don't even know the circumstances surrounding the the retrieve,so you're telling me you would come on and post a picture showing it,if that lad or anyone posted a picture in winter of their first winter hare I would be the first to congratulate them,so get a grip bosun I'm saying what most people are thinking,if everybody killed summer game there would'nt be a thing left in the country to pursue in wintertime,I was told by a mutual friend of us both you knew the game, if you have a personal problem with my posts pm me and I'll put you straight, atb, wirralman the place could be
