  1. Hi mate i understand what your saying Although due to some, people are reluctant to take unknown people shooting. I sujest you take your air rifle to a club and practise just till your 18 and then go out looking for permition. And if you realy want to shoot befor you get permition you can pay to go out on shoots.
  2. Cross hairs were just under twig impact must have been were crosshairs were otherwise you would of hit the twig. Incline will be canciled out if you are shooting further away than your ziro range Although if it went over the twig the shot would of been to far to the edge of the skull to drop cleanly. As well the bird flue off down and sideways not a direct brain shot. But im not posting to upset you just to help you see nice clean kills.
  3. I like the first shot very much. Im not sure about the second shot being that low on the head Mabe its just me but i would of waited to see the mid of the head for perfict placement. But all to their own if it works.
  4. I know that silencers are too supress noise but was wondering if they got rid of the air as well as an air stripper or just a bit.
  5. Hi lads was looking at getting an airstripper for my gun but was told a silencer would do the same job. Is this true? Thanks PH1
  6. I love my new baikal hushpower .410 but would not use it for shooting birds on the wing as said. I would get a good 12g as a first gun.
  7. Yes thanks to tyhe grate advise off here i now have a Biakal 410 Hushpower. It is fully chocked and with 2 1/2inch carts sounds like a crack from a spring piston air rifle. Im very impresed.
  8. Sorry about asking yet another question on .410s but would like to make sure if i spend £400 i will like what i buy. but how do u shoot a shoty with a silencer and no beed? Thanks PH1
  9. Cracking shooting! Well done lads.
  10. Only 7 ftlb! wow that very low for a shoty.
  11. If its not that old i would send it to BSA and get them to fix it, this way it will keep its warranty and will only be handled by profesionals. Although this will cost in p&p
  12. Any one know the rough ftlb of a .410 3inch cart of 19g 4s. Just interested. Thanks PH1
  13. Oh ok that good advise. So low range due to open choke. Not good need to keep looking. Thanks.
  14. What about the Bretton - Gaucher G12 phantom silenced .410 . Any good?
  15. Hi lads was out with my mate on his permission him with his .410 and me with my 12g. his land is the only place i can use my 12g to hunt, because on my permissions the farmer and land owners dont want the noise so i do it with air rifles. After a while useing his s/s .410 i started to love this small cal. So i was wondering what is a very good but cheap silenced .410 i can use for hunting for about £250. thanks PH1
  16. I have the same prob! cant work it out, scope is tight! any advice.
  17. Very true mate. seeing a deer on the back of the truck is no different to seeing meat in a butcher or on the table. Where do the kids think there food comes from.
  18. My mate shoots a .410 on rabbits but he says they dont always drop. he is using 5s now and was wondering if there was a 3inch 4s cart?
  19. Hi lads just asking for a mate. Whats the biggest shot you can get for a .410 on a sgc? Thanks PH1
