    Thanks mate and i have tryed my shooting with the open sites and have come to the conclution my max hunting range is 25 yard for pigeons and if all conditions are right 30 for rabbits That includes the rabbits head being in full view above grass.

    I had decided to take the scope off one of my guns to shoot open site. After lots of thought i decided to take the 3-9x40 off my hw99s. I zeroed the open sites at 18 yard and was suprised at the amount of accuracy i could achieve with open sites At 18 yards i can fit 5 shots under a 5p and at 25 yard i can fit 5 shots under a penny. Unfortunetly after 25 yard the groups seem to open up so 25 yard is my max hunting range. So i took the hw99s for a mooch arround the small farm were i proceeded to shoot 2 squirrels and a pigeon. (sorry no pics forgot my phone). I enjoy my hunting more now with

    Here is a fue i have shot in the last week.All from the same hunt exept the one shot with gamo shadow was off my bird table were the pigeon was sh*ting over it and bullying the song birds The rest were shot with my tx200hc (.177) thanks PH1

    You call an heavy try my tx200hc But yes would rate hw80 as i have a hw99 and get on very well with it.

    hi ph1 when you asked this question last time and i said(checked in you topics) that "an air arms silencer would just screw in to the tx200hc". you can also get an adaptor to allow you to fit any screw on silencer (on the hunter carbine) BUT im guessing now its a standard tx ? not hunter carbine atb samuri Hi mate i went down to the shop to by one and it was a clamp silencer not a scew. I now hear that the the air arms silencer comes with two fittings a clamp or a screw, But thanks for all the replys lads

    Hi lads i asked this question a while ago but was told that an aa silencer would just screw in. This is not the case. Any help? thanks PH1

    If your pellet dropps an inch from 25 to 30 you must be running low mabe you need to check your ftlb

Nice shooting bud I just wish I had some Jay's around here Not to shoot, just to see one alive and to hear its screetch. $0+ years and never seen a Jay in the feathers They appear to be very sporadic around the country, heaving in one field or wood, then 2 miles away absolutely nothing! Phantom Thanks buddy but i feel the same way about rabbits have none near me
