  8. I went out sunday morning to check some traps and snares i had laid in the grounds of the local hall,as i was going over the style i heard a rabbit squeal, i looked down and saw a rabbit laying on its side with its head slightly raised, as i was looking a cat sprang from nowhere and just seemed to touch the rabbit on the neck ,and was gone in a instant. The rabbit lay there twitching as if it had just been shot,i picked the rabbit up and it seemed to be more shocked than injured, though on closer inspection it had a deep cut over, and in, the left eye.Further down the bank i had my next ra

The bodygrips in the mesh tunnel post are BMI's and Victor Conibears not cheap crap. Correct ,there not. I was looking at the very first picture on the thread and it looks identical to the one i have in front of me now which is a copy ,but i could be wrong.Sorry about the missunderstanding.Micky

  13. I was out this morning at 4, 30. checking some rabbit snares in a corn field, the first had been snapped quite close to the eyelet, the second had caught a head,i carried on along the hedgerow and found a few snares pushed aside but no rabbits.I walked further down the field to where i had some bodygrips, and a few more snares set in the tram lines,i was resetting a trap that had been fired [but no catch] when i heard a fox barking,i looked up and saw a fox jumping up and down whilst barking [calling] in a agittated way, iwalked up to were she had been, and found i had caught two cubs, ten yards

  15. Couldnt agree more....for people that have been on the dangerous side of the ropes some folk on here dont seem to know much about how the game of boxing works......some seem to think if a fighter go,s down as a youngster he is no good and never will be......some think that a green young kid should be fighting the worlds elite fighters just because he shows talent....for people that have apparently " done a bit " ....you dont seem to know an awful lot about the game ! I dont like khan the same as the next man but not for the same reasons as most.....however i appreciate a good young prospect a

  21. Cheers rolfe, i was expecting something like that to be honest. Im sure the fungi book authors just copy each other and add it because the chinese use it in medicine. I was originally looking for some boletes or morels but failed badly. On the way back i crossed a couple of fields hoping for a puffball but it wasnt to be its a shame as i hate to come back from a walk empty handed. those jews ears might be plentiful, but i think there as much use as vinces glass eye || had some once in a posh cafe near Oakham, they were cooked with garlic ,shallots ,cream ,and some green stuff [parsle
