  1. Great thread CP, I hope there is more to come, they really do have it good over there eh? All the best, Sniffer
  2. I do a lot of this myself, it's great to get my kids mixed up in it as well, but bloody hard work when then come!!! Nice post
  3. Its 3m x 3.7m by about 2m high if anyone wants some pics I took some earlier
  4. Christ no! They'll blame the dogs no matter what!!! In the road every time!
  5. May be a bit too far for you dotty!
  6. Roughly 4m x 2m x 2m i'll measure it up tomorrow and sorry I'm in the middle of devon. As far as money goes make a sensible offer it's out of a butchers that is now being converted into houses. I just wanted to see if there was any interest before I did a proper advert.
  7. I've got a large walk in freezer up for grabs i'm open to offers, it's in good nick, buyer must collect/dismantle etc. I'll measure it up tomorrow and get some pic's if you need any.
  8. I read somewhere, may have been a Jackie Drakeford book or even on some website somewhere that a tumbler is a type of lurcher that tripped it's prey up before striking/picking it up, hence the name tumbler. I seem to recall they were preferred for certain terrain, but then again it could just be a crock of sh@t that I read. 'They were a rough dog of no more than 24 inch's' is another quote I seem to recall reading from the same pages. F@ck know's a lurcher is a lurcher the good ones stand out big or small.
  9. Look at all the views and yet hardly any replies! Do you think some people were hoping the content was going to be along some other lines?
  10. Spot on them mate, here's my Team Fine looking team you have there Mally, all the best with them
  11. 'You' should hump both dogs to prove your pack leader
  12. That's another way of looking at it, that I wouldn't have thought of!!! Sound advice that makes sense
  13. Mine's 14 months old and has just decided to stop retrieving which is annoying she chase after a ball/dummy what ever, bring it back once maybe then drop it short or leave it where she caught it. So I will be interested to see what this thread comes up with.
  14. See I have always believed that you get what you pay for and only like buying things once, but then I'm a mug!!!! I went and bought a clulite la10 blazerlite and have a deben lithium 22 amp battery which is a good bit of kit. But f@cking expensive!!!
  15. All the best with them, whats the x?
  16. Stevenstone? Yeah mate, it was very pleasant don't you think? It’s not a bad little show, shame they have no working class and a bull class would be nice as well. I was trying to remember a class of three and what dog came third. I have an idea of your dog as a young Merle beardy/beddy type? Fun should be the idea, with a chance to see a few different dogs and have a chat with people. Judging is a matter of personal choice and what suits one will not suit another, but an honest judge will at least pick what they feel is the best although there are those that pick the owners rathe
  17. That is some belting pictures of some cracking dogs all the best to you!
  18. I'm bewildered here.... I haven't heard of a messed up beddy and my lurcher with beddy in her is fine for me. The other's that I know are doing their jobs as expected, but I don't know any show beddy's!
  19. Sounds like it's more a case of what you need, I guess he'll come out with you eventually
  20. Thats an interesting thought. I have been debating what to put over mine in a few years time, she has been bred from working lurcher to working lurcher I know what's in her Sire's make up, but only loosely know what's in her Dam's make up. She is meant to be from Merlin and Eve lines on her dams side out of Seagull, but I have no idea what the sire to that was to produce my dogs grand mother, nor to that her mother and so on.... So when I was told she is Beddy Saluki x Deerhound on her Sire's you can work percentages out, but on her dams side who knows? There's Saluki Bedlington Smithfe
