  3. Well done lads, what size/type dogs are you running?
  4. My pup got caught out by next doors boxer! That would of been a tidy type of dog if I hadn't had her jabbed at the vets! I didn't think a boxer could climb over a 5 foot fence but saw him do it once I kicked him in the bollocks as he legged it back home. I on to building my kennel this weekend as she'll be due another season soon I guess? How frequent do they happen?
  5. seen albino badger before, but never a fox.
  6. Always good to see you write up's and pictures.
  7. This site should dedicate a wall to name and shame these people. Judging by the size of him he don't work his dogs (he'd have a heart attack!) and you can't say he has an over active Thyroid! Pie- itis maybe....
  8. I was just wondering if my lamp was too much and was wondering if anyone has experienced similar? I have Clulite LA10 2 million candle power lamp and a 22 amp/hr 12 volt L-Ion battery its a cracking bit of kit but was wondering if it was too much as the beam is quite wide and a few times now the dog has not gone exactly down the middle of the beam but to the side of it. It's only a problem really with sitter's as she doesn't seem to see them, as soon as they move she is alright (if they move). She ran over one, four times last night before it got up!!! I slipped her to start, called her back

  14. No it's not broke, as we have the x-rays etc. But as it's not my dog and I haven't got a clue what to do I wouldn't be happy to do it myself.
  15. Don't beat yourself up mate, everybody makes mistakes, though sometimes you might not think it going on some replies! The dog will come good in time.
  16. Try us..... What happened that nobody will believe? I'm curious as hell!!!
  17. Man it must be nice for them to have that much time on their hands to drive around an MP in a expensive un-economical motor (paid for by who?) posing for pictures 'SPECIAL C@NT-STABLES'. How very noble of them to do this for free. They should be commended, I know lets just put their pictures in the local rag, inflate their ego's a bit and make the local MP look like he's doing his bit so he can claim his travel expenses and feel important too...... Then tell the 'little people' i.e. the glue that holds this society together, what they can and cannot do to put food on the table. So what we end

  20. Find out where your nearest greyhound track is and ask them who their vet is. Tried ringing Exeter race track to no evail don't know if there's any others around.
  21. Hi I am looking for a greyhound vet or such like for a mate's bitch in Devon. She has a dislocated toe that doesn't want to heal, his vet said about removing the toe which seemed a bit drastic or removing the nail that cuts into the swollen/dislocated toe which to me makes no sense to me as the problem would still be there. He has the x-rays etc and knows the consequences but is a bugger for trying to run her as soon as she looks ok, I have managed to calm him down and take her for short lead walks only but really need to get some decent advice before he ruin's a good animal. Does anyo
