    This has probably been on here before, but for anyone who doesn't know the story about Sylvester Stallone, and Rocky, should give this a watch. Very interesting story, about how he never gave up on his dreams. A man who came from nothing, and didn't sell out, when most others would have.

    I'm no expert, but I once used some un-ripened salmon roe, that I got from a few fish I'd caught a few days before. They went mad for it. Every net I used the roe in, was packed with crayfish. I've tried fish parts, lumps of meat etc, but never done as well. Thing is, where the hell can you readily get your hands on roe?

    Wolfdog, are the Northwood Quick Kill traps hard get over there? They are a US replica of the Fenn trap. Probably seen as an antique trap these days.

    Any place I've seen them for sale in the US, the prices were mad high. Prices of shipping between this side of the waters to the US, and vice versa, has gone up to mad prices in recent years.

    When the waters low in small streams like we have here now, you can actually see the little holes in the sides of the banks where the crayfish hide. Also see the odd crayfish on the bottom. If you have mink or otter, you often find shells scattered around certain areas along the banks
