    Look if you run hounds, you have got to stay out to get the last hound home, wind , rain , snow , it matters not.!! Too not go back the following day or the day he was contacted to be told its where he lost it, makes him a fuc king scumbag of the highest order , I hope he doesn't appreciate the comments, guess he appreciates them as much as he does his hounds..

    Wanting to get there helps but wanting isn't enough a lot of the time. Only a idiot would put up with waiting say 2 hrs before there big dog get up close. A useable fox dog should be easily spannable.

    There's many a terrier ruined by "to much too soon" you won't spoil a terrier by leaving it a bit later to enter it, but you could well ruin it by being in a hurry.

    Some narrow mindness going on here I see, lol. The fact of it is, is that a digging lad, will never see eye to eye with a lad who keeps dogs for every job, there will always be a use for terriers what ever working style they have & both will get results, wether you like it or not ;-) and are there any differences between the two men?? No, because there both out there doing it the way it suits them & the country the control. But mods staying in another recent thread, not the paulus one, that they can read pm's doesn't help stop the theories & the hassle you's get from them.. Just a thought

    We had 3 bitches (hounds) do it a few seasons ago, all with in 4 months, non were related , never seen it before or since.. In the long run, depending on how bad the prolapse is, is to get it taken out, not ideal I know. It goes with out saying, keeping it clean is vital.

    Fallen out with the keeper , lol. In my opinion it's usually bigger shoots that do it, and aslong as the pen is moved reguarly onto fresh ground & pecking etc is minimal, I'm sure there ok to keep them through till later in the season, I think it's more a guild line rather than a enforcesble rule as such.

    We did phi phi le , phi phi don etc when I was in Phuket, as stunning as you can get, loved it over there. hotel had its own island too, granted a small one, haha, mind that was a once in a life time holiday for me, lol, non of this getting paid to do it nonsense :-)

    I don't know how many times you have seen hounds "deal" with a sick hound but I tell you how many times I have seen or hers of it.......never!I have seen a lurcher grab a terrier on a dig but never a hound do likewise, because the hounds have moved on for starters.So come on, how many times have you seen these things happen "in your experience"Tell you what I rekon, your f*****g fishing all the time on certain threads ;)I will leave you to crack on and pump yourself up now.Too right I'm fishing.     alright wilf, you would get the odd hound to be a rogue and a terrier killer, one particular pack near me are a disaster, i dug for them on one occasion only and was warned to watch my terriers around them. sure enough if you wernt careful especially round a hole they would swipe em. another pack i used exercise every morn with the huntsman wer 99% safe but early in the season you could see the curious ones looking everytime we passed a house with a dog. special attention was put into curing the offenders and they would run away from another dog if one went near them after a few morning bring
