The thing is who gets to dictate what is offensive? This sort of thing is rarely about the individual it's about the virtue signalling media and politicians (and all the other morons) that are using the 'correct' pronoun to show how progressive they are. In my opinion it's no different to the gay marriage law, it wasn't about making things better for gay people it was about ramming 'progressive' values (i.e. absence of values) down the throat of social conservative people they disapprove of and reinforcing their believe that there is something wrong with them.

One thing I've noticed in the last couple of years is that if I drink I get a really bad nights sleep and keep waking up all the time. We're also not drinking at the moment, since the missus quit her job we're down to living on my wage so it just seems like a massive waste of money. Between that and the cigarettes I dread to imagine what we used to spend every year.

Its a drug that blocks the neuroreceptors in the brain (the part of the brain that receives the drugs) so that you get no effect from the nicotine whatsoever. It does work, you suddenly have zero desire to smoke even after drinking plenty of beer. Sounds wonderful except for many people the side effects are really bad, the very minimum you will probably get really bad nausea after taking the pill.

The big problem with NRT I was never a big smoker in the morning because I'm asthmatic, the wife is opposite she would smoke first thing but I had to have my nicotine eventually so I would gently smoke a fag with a cup of tea and often with a ventolin chaser lol. The problem I have with NRT (and even with snus to a degree) is the time it takes from delivery to the blood....here's a handy chart to short the difference. One of Jamie Bulger murderers had a bungalow here. I cannot remember correctly, so I am not speculating but the bungalow was empty pretty sharpish after the news got out. Never heard of the tablets, the problem with the prescription stuff is they're more expensive that smoking. Regarding Champix, I took it for 3 months. I was severely ill for days but because of my retarded dentist giving me a cancer scare a year ago I was adamant I wanted to stop and carried on. I would get waves of nausea within minutes (even seconds) of taking the pill but I could handle that. The worse thing was that they made me have absolutely no feelings for other people, I seriously could have watched someone get killed right in front of me and I would not have given one shit, t

Never heard of nicotine capsules but be WARNED about champix. Some people are fine on it, other people get severe nausea and some get very bad mental problems which range all the way up to suicide. That's a hell of a gamble to take when you could use e-cigs and still be alive compared to topping yourself.

If you don't drink much and aren't a hardcore smoker then patches might be ok but the problem is the government sell patches and gum as a method of cessation (quitting) i.e. you should cut down and eventually go cold turkey. Cold turkey is not much different regardless of what level you are on whether it be 21, 14 or 7 mg of nicotine, I always felt slightly withdrawn when doing it that way and it prolonged the agony.....might as well go full on cold turkey instead. Yep that is a nasty disgusting habit lol I'll try most things once but I was never tempted when he offered me a pinch out of his tin. Funny as feck seeing him take a swig out of his spit bottle when reaching for a drink though :laugh: I wouldn't try snus once though, it's pretty unpleasant for a good few days. In short, some people can't give up or struggle to stay quit....like me Every time I failed I was back on the fags because I knew no alternative but e-cigs and snus etc seem like a good way of reducing harm and while using a non dangerous form of tobacco/nicotine we can still think about giving up totally eventually. Seems like a win win

That Melon wasn't particularly nice with an old Speckled Hen, I dont think many of them go with ales, the vanilla (which is a dry one so takes longer to wet and develop a taste) is fairly pleasant even though I'm not a fan of vanilla flavour. However these two extreme ones have such strong nicotine I've no inkling of having a fag whatsoever. Just to be clear, it's a million miles away from chew, I wouldn't go near that stuff, I don't want to be gobbing brown stuff everywhere. These are very discrete, you swallow any liquid which is not much. Sad thing is like they tried to do with e-cigs....this is banned for sale in the EU for no reason whatsoever.

American chewing tobacco is nasty, cheap, full of sugar and disgusting. I worked with a guy that chewed and he was always spitting in to a cup he had in his coveralls lol The Los (loose) snus I haven't tried, I imagine you would get more 'drip' which is brown liquid on your teeth but I don't think you get much if any staining. The portions (bags) I have used don't drip even the very wet and strong one I just got rid of, so far no staining, if you spit it's a bit brown but no different to after drinking coffee tbh This is much different to chewing tobacco, they're bags of pasteuri

Having a few beers tonight Alcohol and nicotine (and also nicotine and caffeine) together help metabolize each other, it means that smokers can drink more coffee than non smokers and drinkers end up chain smoking the more they drink. So after trying a few normal strength snus's and still wanting a fag I cracked open the extreme (Very strong) and extra stark (very strong) ones, also flavours I've not tried much.
