I couldn't agree more....regardless of what flavour of politics you like there is no point pretending that your 'brand' is something it isn't. Blair's Labour wasn't the working man's party they claimed to be and May/Cameron's Conservatives aren't even conservative. I would never vote for the man but I can respect Corbyn for being honest about his politics, Farage was a Libertarian but UKIP has changed to centre ground politics recently as well. Personally I think our elections are meaningless, it's down to France to deliver the next shock, if it happens the world will change completel

Yes your right. I know there are some terns there at the moment, I think it's easy to spot them when they're in flight. When the Terns are here in full force it will be deafening, they live on a man made island and fly out to feed on the eels at sea, it's very nice to watch. Just playing Nick, can see the tern boxes, at least im assuming thats what they are ? Think they use them now after a few colonies of little tern chicks were wiped out by kestrels of all things..... I'm not brilliant at identifying birds, its a new thing for me and like most pic I took the photo not knowing what

Cracking pics C556, my masters was in mining geology I really enjoyed going down the old mines in Cornwall and the history of the industry there was amazing but we were mainly focused on hard rock geology and not coal mining or open cast etc.

LolEven if you burn coal with zero emissions there's still the whole mining and transportation process to take into account. .now I don't totally buy the global warming issue as we have discussed before but I do the pollution health issues associated with fossil fuels ..id like a cleaner world for my kids You have to mine all the minerals to make 'green energy'

Technology is amazing, we can make things work better, cleaner, safer etc there is absolutely zero point in rushing to the next technology while making ourselves poorer. If green energy becomes viable (which it isn't right now) that's wonderful. Here is my question.....What is the rush? P.s Remember acid rain? Anyone under 30 wont have a clue what that is

I respectfully disagree, its a great source of energy and with modern technology it can be very clean. I'm sceptical that green energy will be able to replace traditional fuel for a long time and even if it does there is the problem of energy storage, basically battery are the only way. Batteries require rare earth minerals often from China, they are also very polluting when disposes of and Lithium batteries are highly explosive because of the energy storied in them, you would NOT want vast banks of them anywhere near human populations.

Personally I don't see what is so implausible about building a wall, I find it quite strange how the media and liberals make such a big deal about it. The Chinese made a pretty decent one by hand He will have to bargain with congress but any republican member who voted against it would be committing political suicide surely

Border crossings have already plummeted by 40% compared to one year ago and something like 60% compared to a few months ago so just letting the border police do their job has already made huge changes. He has to get funding for the wall from the congress so that is being negotiated as far as I know.
