They've already revoked the shooting rights on at least one of their grounds, closing down a long standing driven shoot.

They definitely work I've used one but then you can get other problems as a result, it might put them off hunting for example or cause nervousness if you get it wrong. I would try and find a really good trainer to show you how to use it and also condition the dog to the collar. At first they don't have a clue why they're getting the shock and their first reaction is to run away. I would consider the e-collar as a last resort which needs to be used with care. Cheers Nick

Not quite the same thing but i took my 6 year old clay shooting and she loved it . She buttoned for me and kept telling me when I Missed. I loved it later i asked he what her favorite bit was and she replied "the sausage sandwich"

I've had cats myself but since they both died and I got a dog I came to the conclusion that they really are the lazy persons pet and I dislike them more and more. It's the only animal you can own where you don't have to take any responsibility what so ever just buy one and let it out to shit in other peoples gardens and there's nothing anyone can do. You can get cat deterrent which is something that doesn't smell good to them but again I guess it will freak your dogs out as well.

I wouldn't be happy if anyone could get a gun but i think that the laws need changing regarding defending your home. In the even when you wake up and hear someone moving around down stairs it is asking too much of people to evaluate the threat and acting accordingly. How is the average person going to know how dangerous an intruder is or find out what weapons they have. If it was me i would never move down stairs in to a situation where i might get attacked. Instead i would be at the top of the stairs and shout a warning. If they came up you can bet they mean u harm and anything goes. Charging

That's an interesting question. I'd be interested to see what happens with that, I would imagine they can't stop him from having it as he hasn't committed any crime and should still be of good character. They should reward him with some fox cartridges for the next time

Two days in custody to most people would be pretty traumatic though. Good to hear they arent getting charged.

I win on shite mileage. I get 15 mpg or 20 on the motorway driving like a granny with a 4.6 litre V8 but it's nice to drive.

At least with a shotgun you can disable someone. With a knife your more likely to kill them or have it taken off you and used on yourself.

Just a thought but what about putting food out for it with out the cage for a while to let it get more confident? Then snare or trap the bugger.

most of those 40 are illegal firearms anyway so banning guns would make no difference. And as the 800 murders suggests if someone wants to kill someone they will do it with any means possible. The papers make out that guns make killing so much easier if that were the case we'd have a lot more murders with guns since its not exactly hard to get an illegal one or even a legal one!
