    I think what people are getting at is an attitude or even a set of rules that you have to obey if you live somewhere like that. You don't get a choice or you get run off the estate. As far as not having anything to do with the police I agree to a point. I've done my moral duty or what ever people want to call it and ended up in hospital and then the little turds only got a couple of months anyway so I can't be arsed helping if the justice system doesn't work.     Apparently people on the estate knew he was around and one even said they saw him in the pub...this is pretty much from the horses mouth and not off the news. But on that estate you don't grass on anyone or you'll end up in the shit.

    I think life is equally important but I think people feel the need to express sympathy towards the people who are killed doing a job that is for the country and that includes soldiers and police because those people are actually willingly putting themselves in harms way.

    I love brown trout even a small one is more rewarding than any stockie in my opinion. I remember my first brownie, I was about 13 and my old man took me and my brothers fly fishing up near the border between Scotland and England (possibly near Coldstream) it was only about 3/4 of a pound but a memorable day. Can't remember my first ever fish because my dad would take me on the canals and also sea fishing from a very young age. Were you using a fly or other techniques? tight lines

    I'm pretty sure he was hell bent on killing police that day. By all accounts he rang in a false burglary report to bring them to him. This guy was a proper scumbag, we're talking about a someone who blasted away with a handgun inside a pup not only did he kill his intended victim but he also hit 3 other people as well.
