  1. Amazing so after years of coning little old ladies and robbing people of their inheritance they're skint lol
  2. Not the same but I've been crapped on by them in the past and treated worse than a criminal. Good luck with the court case
  3. This is very true. The lack of solidarity is worrying but I guess people think that by not making a fuss they will not be noticed. Fishermen will no doubt feel this one day after the rest of the country sports have been destroyed.

  7. I CC the stupid customer support email address as well.
  8. The reply Dear Customer Thank you for your email. WHSmith aims to offer our customers choice, whilst striking the right balance and not acting as a censor. WHSmith seeks to do its best to satisfy all of its customers who often have strongly opposing views. We aim to display all of our magazines in locations where they are accessible to those who want to buy them, but do not offend those who do not. The till prompt system has been in place for many years on a range of different products and this has not previously been an issue for customers.

  13. It's really going to come down to either a 12 bore SBS or a 20 bore O/U. 20 bores seem to be harder to find apart from buying new. Most or all of the SBS in my local gunshop are second hand and I don't know much about them, think they've got Webley & Scott and T Newton for sale mainly.
  14. I'm a sucker for zombie films etc Wasn't too keen on the Walking Dead as I hated most of the characters. i'll still watch it though
  15. I like yours better Walshie Dear Sir/Madam Having seen the recent article in the news, regarding WH Smith's decision to prevent young people from buying magazines related to the shooting sport, I would like to make it clear that I will no longer be a customer of WH Smiths. I have spent a minimum of £300 every year in your stores on books and magazines but I will not spend money with any organisation that supports such an attack on my own hobbies. I will also encourage friends and family to do the same. Magazines such as Shooting Times, The field and Sporting Gun are not about glori
  16. Read a while back that the LACS were going to target WH Smiths customers with leaflet campaigns outside stores. Looks like Smiths bottled it to save the agro... Where are the organisations like the BASC & the countryside alliance when things like this happen? They should be out threatening to counter shit like this with leaflet campaigns of their own, but no they just sit back taking their yearly subs thinking that things like that are beneath them.. http://www.basc.org.uk/en/media/pressreleases.cfm/prid/9951D854-C9A1-49E2-B26699195F4E08F6 Them condemning this is defiantly n
  17. I am also going to write to them, think their website is down right at the moment. The stupidity of this is unbelievable....how much money do smelly crusties spend in WH Smiths? I used to spend a fair bit of money in that shop.
  18. signed and wont be spending another penny there
