I hate my accent to be honest....I developed a 'telephone voice' which I use when I don't know people....that is because of work and so I didn't sound like a twat when giving presentations etc "sound mate fookin ace innit?". It's funny because most people who don't know me think I'm posh because I switch it on and off without thinking but once I get to know someone or have a drink it changes rapid....mainly the problem is I swear A LOT! I like to think I've got torretts but the wife won't have it at all....never swear in front of her mum but sound like a chav after a couple of beers

Seems like the cheapest you can get a 7100 is ~600 quid without any lens....how much is a lens like you describe? Expensive business! But I'd rather buy right than buy twice -

I wasn't using a metal detector but when I was on hols in France I spent a few days mooching round the German bunkers near the gironde estuary near where the SAS Cockleshell Heroes canoed up the estuary to blow up a German ship. I found all sorts of stuff, loads of shrapnel, an old boot and part of a German uniform. I then found a full clip of 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridges for a Kr-98 rifle....that was pretty cool but then I thought there are probably plenty of old unexploded bombs and mines so maybe digging battlefields isn't such a great idea. By the way (you are going to regret opening this topic lol) the trenches at subduction zones are full of mashed up rocks in what's called a 'melange' or mixture, as the plates are pushed down wedges get scraped off and deposited in a accretionary arcs or prisms which fill the deep trenches....if you come here to Anglesey you can see one of the best preserved examples of this in the world

All the ones that happen in the pacific rim and also the ones on the west coast of South America are generally caused by plate tectonics at subduction zone boundaries where the earths crust is colliding with other plates. This is a decent video but note that the speed this happens at in the video will take is sped up very fast and you are watching thousands of years per second. It's not a continuous movement, rather pressure builds up and then something gives way which causes the big earthquakes.

Nope it's just normal and a product of humans living in places that are stupid but historically made sense given the geography and abundance of food etc....it's like how towns and cities are situated near rivers that flood. With volcanoes soil is very very fertile so early humans would get bumper crops and be able to grow more livestock etc.

You can take your own tea bags to other places in the world and it will taste like sh*t. When I was abroad I never drank tea....the Welsh water and milk is fine though

Yorkshire tea is terrible mate,PG tips is the drink of choice in Surrey.At the moment I am wading through a box of tetley orange pekoe because my sis in law thought she would "treat me"?Theres a chain of posh tea shops in Ottawa,I was in one last week sampling the nutmeg tea,quite nice,far better than Tim Hortons or second-cup "coffee". Yorkshires gone down hill really badly in the last few years god knows what they've done to it but it's undrinkable And you! Oh jesus....now look what you've caused QUEST!!!! The only tea I saw in the US was that horrible liptons stuff....which to be fair makes great ice tea but makes a rank brew. I probably driunk 10-15 cups of tea a day, strong Tetleys or what ever will do the job....nothing fancy as long as it's hot, strong and sweet You are right though, those cans of soda/energy drinks are really bad for you. People who drink too much sugary drinks can develop liver damage in the same way an alcoholic does.

MY dog was attacked yet a-f**king-gain and now has a nasty cut to his hind leg. I've put Savlon on it before seeing this thread. I also used some cotton wool and tape to hold it in place....it that a good idea or leave it open? I think he'd probably lick the savlon off. What makes a little old lady buy a bull X is beyond me.....it was only young and she's go not chance controlling it when it gets bigger....is the tiger stripes??
