    i think kitten food is better for them. But ask down the butchers for some offcuts, get a nice assortment of stuff for only a few quid.

    my dad bought 2 blackberries home last week, got them both unlocked on a high street for a tenner each. one of them phone shops that sell shit second hand phones and phone covers. I think most markets have a stall that does it too.

    ive opted for an air brick in the corner so i can sweep water out of it. with the slight angle in the concrete. Should be done in a few weeks so i'll get some photos up.

    everyone moans about racism but surely those rules are racist towards us. its supposed to be the same rules applied all round no matter what colour your skin is or what religion you are. we are getting treated as lessers. if we were praying and one of our houses got raided we'd get a mouth full of CS gas and a cosh wrapped round your head. the old bill have to come round at a time suited to them and ask politely if it wouldnt be to much trouble if they could pop in. load of shite

    Right, I'm going to build a ferret court, doing it out of concrete blocks seeing as I'm shit with wood. But I don't want a huge mesh front because it will let all the weather in and as it will be block built with a concrete base it will just hold the water. But I also want as much light and air in as possible.I was thinking a solid door over the mesh front but as I said, I'm shit with wood. So any easy ideas to get over it? Cheers, Aaron.

    mine was exactly the same mate. once, we ferreted a wood, put her in an earth and didnt realise the whole wood just connected up to make one super warren whenver we went near her she jus f****d off down the hole, she gave us he run around for about 2 hours. i jus stopped taking her out for a little while and handled her more and more now she is good as gold. Also ive heard that if u whistle when u feed them hey will come to you with a whistle. good luck mate.

    well done mate Hemp will last forever if you look after it, if it gets wet just dry it and they'll be fine. I put a few socks over my water bottles and that stops them freezzeing. I'd take your other ferret and let it do the smaller earths, or put it into earths you have watched rabbits go into, he will soon pick it up. Or get another collar and work them together so they learn off each other.     Look at posts of peoples days out mate, bags of 40 plus so very good to hunt with They feed themselves with the rabbits you catch so they don't cost much. And they are p1ss easy to look after. Its just food, water, warmth, shelter, handling. The only thing that does your wallet in is the price of locators, nets (depending on where you get them, longnetter off here makes and sells good cheap nets so I hear) and carrying boxes can be expensive but again you can make your own.
