    Why just an inch ? be a bit of alteration to do being an underlever and all. Better to cut off at the breech end of the barrel, gunsmith job I reckon, unless you have the kit and knowledge. Good luck. Bill.

    Hi Bear. Great momento of Grandad mate. If you have taken it back to bright steel, it may pay you to use a Mordant solution to acid etch the steel before priming. Make sure you degrease well, very well. Bill
